I got a hamster and I use pine bedding, I want to know if that is the right type of bedding and what brand of food is the best.
i dont have a bedframe for my bed and want to get the matress off the floor. i bought bed risers but they are for bed frames not for the matress it self. can i srick anything under there that will lift it off the floor. cardboard boxes wont hold…
anything i can buy at the store?

I bought a Therapedic memory foam mattress – it was great in the store – it molded to my body right away. When it was delivered to my house and I lay down on it, it was seriously as hard as a rock. I am unable to sleep on it at night. Is that normal when it’s brand new or is something wrong with the mattress? Does anyone else own one of these and had this happen to them? I’m pretty upset since I spent close to 00 on it.
He’s only allowed in my room (not the rest of the house), and when he comes in at night, before I crate him, he is crazy! He never really calms down and sleeps until he is crated. How do I convey to him that it is bedtime, and he needs to settle without putting him in his crate (which he is outgrowing)?
Should I put his new bed down in a different room with nothing to chew on, until he associates that bed with bedtime? Should I try leaving him free-roaming in my room and hope he eventually settles down (without chewing more of my photo albums)? Should I leash him close to his bed so he doesn’t have free reign but so he can still at least stretch out on his bed? He is housebroken, but my dear mother won’t let him have free reign in the house, which I think would make it less of a novelty, thereby settling him.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
Right now he’s in shredded newspaper. What is the ideal bedding?
I know shavings aren’t good because they can cause respiratory issues, especially in rabbits.
I have a mostly white bedding set with black floral embroidery. I have a traditional/romantic feel in my room, but I also prefer to keep things simple and organic.

my husband always smashes them down then they dont look nice anymore. I have like 10 of the cheapy pillows because of this. It doesnt have to be comfortable-better if it is NOT COMFORTABLE maybe he will stay off it. I just want them to look nice on my bed.
i cannot find any ones with themes on it for queen, do you know a store where i can by a bedset with like sports,firetruck,etc for a queen size bed?
I bought a queen sized sealy mattress from costco when I moved for school last year and since I have a contemporary style bed, the box spring looked funny. Thinking it was only to raise the height, I got rid of the box spring. Well now, 1 year later I realize what a mistake that was. I have constant back pain and my bed is just extremely uncomfortable. I don’t mind buying another mattress now, so can I use the current mattress as a box spring? I want to buy a memory foam this time because I have lower back problems as well as alwaying waking up in the morning extremely tired. What do you guys recommend? I would as the stores but I’m not sure if they’ll give advice that isn’t coming from a business standpoint for them.

I use to use carefresh, but my breeder uses shredded aspen. I have been reading reviews on the carefresh, carefresh plus, and shredded aspen beddings. They all have positive and negative hings. I want odor control, absorbent, and for it to be comfy for my little boys. I also do not mind paying a bit more for a good bedding. What would you recomend? Also, it cannot be dusty or pine/cedar because that will give them upperrespiratory inffections.
