I’m trying to empty my waterbed but am having problems. I can’t get enough of a siphon going to empty it. After I get the the hose filled with water from the faucet and open the valve on the adaptor, do I leave the faucet running or turn it off? Plus, my sink is a good 3 feet higher than the bed. Could that be a problem?

I just can’t seem to put things together without using some kind of blanket statement to comfort me.

I am preparing to move in a couple of months, and trying to decide how much to budget for a new mattress. I am getting a full-size platform bed, so I don’t need the box springs, just the mattress itself. I don’t want an air-bed or anything like that, but a traditional spring coil mattress or foam mattress would be fine.

Everywhere I look they are at least 0. I don’t care about quality, I just need something to sleep on until I can get something better. I can always get on of those mattress toppers or something anyway. So… anyone know of a good place to get one? Thanks!

I’ve had two of these beds and both would lose air. It wasn’t the pump. I found the solution to be in repairing and/or replacing the the way the air hoses connect to the pump. The only other solution is replacing the mattresses which is too expensive. If you go to Ebay you can find my solution under Sleep Comfort or Sleep Number beds. I’ve got the solution there with a little yellow book. I’ve found replacement parts that work like a dream.

I just received a bedspread as a present and it says it "dry clean only". Do you REALLY have to do this? Or can I toss it in the dryer and washer and my house?

I got a flannel sheet set for my birthday, and I mean to wash them before using. I don’t have an undercover line to hang it to dry, though, and it says you can’t tumble dry. What would happen if I ignored this and tumble dried them just as a one-off? It’s going to rain this week and I need to use them already.

i live in the dorms and i need to wash my blankets. the blanket dosn’t seperate from cotton to covers like pillows do. can i just put the whole thing in the washing machine? or will it ruin the cotton inside.

im 17, and my walls are blue and white [light blue] striped, im not allowed to paint or take it off, so i need to find a bedspread and curtins or something to match
