A local furniture store closed and donated their leftovers to our local thrift store. I picked up two tempurpedic adjustable beds but without the mattresses. I can’t afford their mattresses so I’m wondering what kind of mattress I can use on it. Thanks!

I spend 90% of the year on the road. i was wondering what gun would be best for concealed carry and to keep bag my bed to protect myself in a hotel. i assuming i don’t want anything to powerful so it does not go into another room?
sorry forgot to mention i live in Florida. I travel out of state but ill probably leave my gun at home when i do that.

I’ve tried the cheap air mattresses from stores like Walmart and Zellers and they are not very good. They’re too small first of all, waterbed queen is 60" x 84". Second, they don’t hold the air very well, you have to top them up every few days. Thanks in advance for any info..

Has anyone liked the mattress they bought at BJ’s Warehouse? The last bed I bought was a Sleep Number, and it was the worst! BJ’s seems to have good prices, but they’re hard to test out. Can anyone recommend one? I have about 0-900 to spend on a Queen set. Thanks!

I am looking at a house for sale, its old… from 1920s. I’m pretty certain the walls are sheet-rock but they might be plaster. The house is unoccupied and the interior walls and ceiling have been completely repainted within the past year – the house still smells like paint. The cracks are hairline cracks. Literally like the thickness of a thick piece of hair. They are long and extend sometimes several feet. They are on the ceilings and walls in almost every part of the house. The house is old, so immediately you think it could be a settling issue – but I would think it would have done enough settling in the prior 90 years that freshly coated paint wouldn’t be affected. Its not blister, not peeling, not flaking…. just hair line cracks.
Wow thanks for the thorough answers, everyone. So clarify a little. If I proceed I will of course get an inspection done. I am not in an earthquake area (I’m on Long Island, New York). Climate control was likely an issue as the house was uninhabitated for some time.

It sounds like a few of you have likely hit the cause right on the head. It sounds like its not structural. (The house is relatively sound structurally, anyhow). How can I fix it? Do I have to prime and paint again? sand? any special paint that might be more fore-giving?
