In the Senate, Republicans easily turned back Democratic legislation requiring a troop withdrawal to begin within 120 days.
The measure set no fixed deadline for any troop withdrawls, wishful thinking on the part of Queen Pelosi and King Reid.
The will not get even close to the 60 votes they need in the senate.
They don’t have the votes, they can’t get the bill passed, so why act like they care about what happens with the troops.
OR the Democrats could lose a bunch of seats in congress because of what they are doing.
It could go either way, it is common knowledge that democrats traditionally hate the military.
i struggle in the morning trying to put my futon into the couch position.is there some easier way to put it up? every time i try and pick up the frame from the bottom (from where the handles) and it picks the whole bed up.

Last week my roommate greg wanted to be alone with his friend from home mike (they wouldnt tell me why) and now there is all this white crusty stuff all over my bed. no one knows how it got there but i want to get it off of my sheets. any suggestions?
My cousin, who I haven’t seen for a long time, is coming over on Monday. She is 15, but acts much like me (who is 13) in terms of creativity. I have an odd need to decorate a small area of my living room (where she will be sleeping) as a cutesy "hotel room".
I already have set up a very small dresser-type-jewelry box on the second-to-the-bottom shelf of a bookcase. It has a writing pad and small box on top. Next to the "dresser" is a small mirror and matching box with mints in it. On the bottom shelf is a "table" I made with a shoebox with a cloth tablecloth. On top of that is a tiny vase (which will have a flower in it), a small glass, coaster, and a tealight candle. (when I get the sleeping bag/bed set up I’m going to put a chocolate on the pillow :3)
Do you think this is too extravagant, if you like the idea then could you lend me some more ideas. What else would you see at a fancy hotel?
I didn’t have a bible small enough to fit in the "dresser" so I put a mini dictionary in one of the drawers lol :3
I am beginning to make queen size quilts out of 100% cotton fabric to sell on EBay. They will have high loft batting in them (the kind from WalMart). I am just wondering if it would be cheaper to ship them by parcel post or to ship them in a flat rate box from USPS, and the only way to find that out is to weight them, but I don’t have a scale meant for that kind of thing.
I found a linen spray that I absolutely love. (Egyptian Cotton, from Bed Bath and Beyond) I want to use it when I do my laundry. Do you think it’s safe to pour just a little bit in my washer once it fills with water?
I accidentally left some plant food in a poorly ventilated storage closet and now everything (and I mean everything) smells really terrible – almost like animal urine. I would guess it’s from the nitrates, but nothing seems to work! I’ve tried laundering, baking in the sunshine, air fresheners and a vinegar solution spray. Can anyone help?
