Any tips on caring for a down comforter??

I haven’t opened it yet. It’s a Christmas gift.
I picked it out yesterday.
The outside does say it is machine washable.

During the time I am using it I like to take it outside to air occasionally. At the end of the season I take it to the dry cleaners. I leave it in the bag for the summer storage.
didnt it come with instructions?
It’s not worth the hassle. Send it to therapy, and just hope they give it some Valium.
I have a down comforter and I love it. You can fluff it in the dryer with a couple of tenis balls. If you have to wash it (and the tag says it’s washable) then give it an extra rinse cycle or take it to the laundry mat.
Also invest in a duvet cover. That way you can reduce the number of times you have to clean the comforter itself.
plus duvet covers are a fun way to change up the colour in a room or accent colours in a room.
