I have some ideas for you but would almost need the room layout and dimenions in order to assist better. I would think that basic components could include a very stylish Bed that can double as a workspace when needed. I would build in a flip down top that will mount to wall that will flip down over desk to use during the day. The bottom side can be a beautiful pc of art while flipped up.
veritical storage all over the place. A rolling rack that can be turned around at night to put your work away. The back side can have brackets and storage for night time consumption. A unit sophisticated enought to hold a flat screen TV for entertainment when you are not working? Wall hooks, stacking storage, underbed storage. Manequin built on a rotating rack with casters that can be rotated out of site when you don’t need it and appear to be a column?? Tackboard with fabric samples and sketches of your work essential to the whole "workshop" design. Task chair that is adjustable ht for your desk and for your higher level work areas?
I have a lot of ideas on storage, dual purpose etc. but I would need to better understand what you have and what you need. If you would like a quick consult let me know.
