i change mine every three months….before they become too flat……and wiffy….seamanab x
I set mine on the hood of my car on a nice day every six months or so to air them out, but there are pillows on my bed that I’ve had for years – as long as they’re not flat, I don’t see why you should get rid of them.
I buy new ones about every 6 to 9 months,,,you can find them on sell at Wal Mart for around 5 Dollars,,I just bought 2 a week ago, 4 Dollars each at W.M. thick fluffy ones too….lol…I have tried to wash them, just not the same after a wash …lumpy…..hope this helped
.Many pillows are washable and I wash mine every year but sometimes I put them outside on a nice day to air off. If they are stained wash them . If they are feather ones these are not washable and need to be aired off regular . If feather ones are stained either get new or recover, which is a messy job.
I change mine twice a year. I get rid of them when they go flat.
I fabreeze mine with the antibacterial kind of fabreeze when I wash my sheets (usually once a week) and wash the removable cover once a month — basically when I remember. A good pillow will last a long time — just get rid of them when they no longer provide support.
