How can I get it out without taking the spread off the bed.
Blood came from new mama kitty

Put a towel under the stain to avoid liquid coming through the other side. Then cover the stain with some peroxide, then blot with a different clean towel until the stain is up. Use just a little peroxide at a time to avoid the bed spread getting too wet. Once the stain is up, use a little water on the stain, and let air dry.
Well , at lest you know you’re not pregnant now
Spread a folded towel underneath the stain and sponge it with cold water. The sooner the better, as when its set its more difficult to get out. If this doesn’t do the trick try rubbing it with a stain removing soap while wet, rub it in, leave it a bit and rinse it off with wet cloths. Then blot the area dry. If you haven’t got any stain removing soap try ordinary laundry detergent.
It seems to me Grammie that getting the blood spot out, shouldn’t be your biggest concern right now, but maybe where did the blood come from.
