We looked at Tempurpedic when shopping for a mattress last year and found an alternative at Costco for less than half the price and have been very happy with it. They have a several styles and thicknesses available on their website, http://costco.com, and we have the 10" Sleep Science. There are a lot of customer reviews on the site and there’s probably a Consumer Reports article in the past year or so to help you with finding one that’s right for you. Sorry, I’ve given you two more ways to spend money, but the magazine is available at your local library if you don’t already subscribe and most Costco stores don’t display mattresses , so they’re only available online (ours came UPS kind of squeezed into a big cardboard box), so you don’t have to buy a membership until you’re sure that’s what you want. Hope this helps without adding to your confusion too much.
Check out http://www.mattresshero.com they sell comparable models with free shipping and 90 day sleep trial
