yes they can, one at a time on the gentle cycle. After washing dry it in the dryer on its lowest heat setting(this will take about 4 or 5 hours to dry), put a tennis ball in the dryer(I’m not joking) and as the dryer tumbles the tennis ball will bump on the pillow and this will make it back to an almost new condition, the ball keeps the pillow from being lumpy.
Most pillows will do fine in the washer as long as they are not feather pillows.
If they are smaller toss type lpillows, put them in a pillow case and tye it shut to wash them.

I do, however over time they will get a bit distorted and the material inside breaks down. Though I buy cheaper pillows and just replace them after a year or two. I haven’t had any trouble with drying in the hot dryer…again they can get distorted a bit. Also I’m assuming you mean sleeping pillows?
go ahead, if there filled with , feather, they will, mess up
and let them dry slowly. so they don’t shrink .
so a low heat setting would work
I wash all of our pillows but the feather ones as they will bunch up into a ball… i wash the pillows in warm water with bleach and detergent and they come out clean and then i put them in the dryer and let them dry on low heat and they are fine…
