No, I use to do it all the time when I use to live in a cold house during the winter. They make great comforters.
Not if you want to, and your parents allow it
Good idea. Basically a sleeping bag is a comforter with a zipper. Now you have a multi purpose blanket. Saves room in your home.
Good thinking.
If it’s weird, someone neglected to tell me. i use two sleeping bags: an old ratty one for a sheet (along with a sheet) and right now because it’s summer, a sleeping bag fleece, but in winter, i also use a full-weight sleeping bag in good repair. no one else in my family does it, but they all accept that i do and have never tried to pursuade me otherwise.
Sure =P I used to sleep in a sleeping bag (on a bed…LOL). It’s comfy! I don’t like to use sleeping bags on hard surfaces because I like to sleep on soft things.
Answer mine please? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ai6x_gBLsvzI_dvuwsJZ4jDsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20110825132759AAyhjUb
Well, I don’t do that, but I don’t think it’s weird. Some people may think so, but don’t we all do peculiar things we do at one time or another? You’re fine!
It’s not weird, but it tends to be hard on the sleeping bag. Most of them aren’t made for use night after night, and will start ripping and tearing quickly. They also need to be washed regularly–especially if you’re not using sheets–and that’s even more wear-and-tear. Washing them can also be difficult if you don’t have access to an extra-large front-loader, and drying takes forever and a day.
So, what makes it weird. It is the same as a cheap quilt. or comforter. I sleep under it as it is fully opened to be like a blanket that goes overtop. When fully open, it is not a cocoon as I like my legs spread apart, knees sometimes bent, foot sometimes by one ear. You know…traffic accident drawing – all geeky like.
Sleeping bag would constrain that type of movement.
yes
well , if you get to sleep , I don’t see any problem.
No. I sleep in my sleeping bag sometimes on my bed, and nobody really knows so i dont care. Plus if people do find out its not really a big deal to me.
