I am 21 weeks and plan on starting my baby room. I just feel the need to start getting things together for my baby. My mom insists we still have plenty of time (since this saturday we will be going to buy the crib, bedding etc)
When do most people start to get babies room ready?

Go for it now i did as soon as i found out what i was having it keeps u occupied and busy and its a ton a fun. and u have time if u mess up or dont like it. It worked for me!
I’m going to be 20 weeks on Saturday and while I have all the furniture picked out, it probably won’t get ordered for a couple of weeks…I do think I’m starting a little early, but we have a dog and i want him to get adjusted to the furnished nursery well before the baby is born, besides I keep hearing how you’re not going to have much energy to do stuff in the later months of pregnancy. I’m keeping the sex a surprise, so my hubby will paint 1 accent wall and I will select bedding and other decorative things after the baby is born while he/she is in the bassinet in our room.
I’m 13 weeks and freaking out about getting the room ready. We still have to stich around 2 rooms. I won’t be painting soon but at least empting out the room soon and as soon as I find out the gender I will get started on getting it done. I don’t buy a whole lot untill after the shower that way I will know exactly what I’ll still need.
Whenever you want is my advice. If you have the urge and the energy then do it! I started putting my baby’s nursery together at 20 weeks.
I put all the furniture together as I got it. But, I never had time to wash and put away anything else. The day I started my early leave I went into labor. Luckily my husbands family did everything for us while we where in the hospital.
I would suggest doing things as you go. Organizing and rearranging will be an everyday process.
I started when I was 8 months just in case something went wrong
I’m 35 weeks and I’m STILL trying to get my husband to paint the room. Luckily we have the furniture ordered and the clothes ready, but that’s it.
I’ll start in the next few weeks. I’m onlt 14wks 4dys and I’m moving tonight
Do it when you feel ready. I want to get going as soon as I know the baby’s gender. I don’t want to try and do all that when I am big as a barn.
