How can I sell my bedroom furniture in Northern Virginia?

I am looking for someone or a company that can give me an estimate for my furniture and take it out of my house.

Since there is only some bedroom furniture and not a house full of furniture you might try posting an ad with photos on http://www.craigslist.org . Posting to that site is free.
If you post to craigslist you can select the geographic area "Northern Virginia". This will reach people in DC and Maryland, too.

Put a add in the paper or yard sale.

Consignment stores are your best bet. They will pick up your furniture and determine and price plus their commission. In your area there should be a consignment store called Upscale Resale. Look for that first but any decent consignment store will do. This way means you don’t have to deal with shipping or having people come to your home. Some friends of ours sold their $6000 white leather sectional for $2000 through a consignment shop. They tried other methods and did not want people coming to their home.
