is there anything i can do to keep my baby laying down at bed time?

he is just 7mo and has perfected getting up in bed and will just stand there. most of the time he doesn’t even cry. as soon as i leave the room after laying him back down i can here him getting back up. last night he got up a 1am and was up for an hour just standing.
dont click on the link that Dory put on there when i tried to play the video my antivirus said there was some kind of trojan in it.

LOL, as long as he is safe, try to let him wear himself out. He’ll get tired eventually and lay back down (as long as he already knows how to sit/lay from the standing position). If you go in there all the time when he does it, he’ll start to think it’s "Mommy time" and do it to get you to come.
No biggie, just let him stand. I always put my older son in his crib and he stands right up and I leave and he eventually lays down and goes to sleep.
I am laughing because I can relate. Can he sit back down by himself. If so, just let him stand. I read that babies practice A LOT while in bed. He’s just perfecting and enjoying the fact that he can stand.
