How to bleach white sheets?

ok, so my friend and i wrote all over my sheets in (dry erase) marker. I thought washing them would get it out but it didnt work. So how exactly do i bleach my (originaly) white cotton sheets?? thanks (:

ok well first you need a bottle of bleach
second you need a bucket ( big enough for the sheet or in the bath)
third in bucket u will need hot water and poor a cup full of bleach and put the sheet in
leave over night and in morning not right leave longer
