Ethan was not an ordinary boy, although his father was a very rich man and lived in an enormous house he decided that he would not be educated at home and wanted to go to the local school. This was because he wanted to interact with people and make friends but above all, he wanted to show off how rich he and his father were. Ethan was told when he was younger that his mother died while giving birth to him but he always had his doubts about the story. Like any other child in this situation he blamed himself for her departure and never knew the feeling of having a mother.
Ethan was a very scrawny boy, he had short blond hair which was very neat and combed to the one side. He was very vain and did not leave his house with a hair out of place, his shirt not tucked in or a speck of dirt on his skin or clothes. He had a button nose and his skin was tanned like he had been on a sun bed for the past year.
Ethan had a disease called heterochromia. This meant that the colour of his one eye was different to the other which caused a lot of fuss when at his old school, in his case his right eye was blue and his left eye was yellow. But unlike other people who had heterochromia, his eye only changed colour when he was in danger, but when he wasn’t in danger it turned back to its original colour which was blue. The doctors did not know what caused this abnormality which always worried Ethan and his father.
Ethan woke up in his king sized bed due to a roar that echoed through his father’s mansion.
“ETHAN!” called the voice “GET UP OR YOU WILL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!” he recognised the voice and pulled the bed sheets over his head to drown out the noise “ETHAN!” called the voice again. The voice got louder as the person trampled up the stairs and closer to Ethan’s room. The cold hand grasped the door knob and twisted, the door swung open and Ethan threw the bed sheets off of him. Ethan looked at the woman whose noisy arrival had disturbed him from his sleep.
She had black greasy hair crunched up into a bun at the back of her head; her face was scrunched up and wrinkly like a pug. Her black eyes were underlined by a shadow of droopy skin which indicated that she had not had much sleep recently. She was wearing a black maid’s uniform which was too small for her and which her skin overlapped and clipped onto her uniform was a gold nametag which read “Mrs Carrow”. When she walked into the room the happiness and light was sucked out of it and replaced with darkness and death.
“ETHAN!” Mrs Carrow screamed although she was standing a couple of feet away from his bed “DID YOU NOT HEAR ME, GET UP OR YOU WILL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!” her face was as red as tomato as Ethan still did not budge. Ethan was very stubborn towards Mrs Carrow and did not treat her with respect but despite the way Ethan treated her, she had to bite her tongue or risk being replaced by another maid.
Mrs Carrow thundered her way over to Ethan’s king sized bed and torn the bed sheets off of Ethan. “Your father gave me permission to do whatever necessary to get you up and ready for your first day at your new school seeing as you ‘begged’ not to be homeschooled” said Mrs Carrow in a smug voice. Mrs Carrow’s voice was very nasally and monotone which almost sent Ethan back to sleep had it not been his first day at his new school.
“Ok ill get up now” mumbled Ethan, Mrs Carrow waited by his bed until Ethan was up on his feet. “You can go now!” Ethan was very grouchy, especially when being woke up by Mrs Carrow. Mrs Carrow swiftly turned around and trembled back down the long flight of stairs.
Still tired Ethan rubbed his eyes to help wake himself up, and walked to the shower which although it was only down the corridor felt like he would be walking for the rest of his life to reach it. Ethan jumped into the grand shower and water shot out of the shower head and clashed with Ethan’s blond hair, as Ethan washed himself he felt very uneasy and light on his feet, for a split second he felt a sharp pain in the back of his eye. Could this be what Ethan and his father had been worried about? The pain stopped suddenly and Ethan carried on washing himself.
Dripping wet Ethan got out of the shower and grabbed the towel off the nearby towel rack and started drying himself, another pain shot through his body and was much worse than the previous one. Ethan did not think about it and carried on drying himself; he wrapped the towel round his waist and walked back into his bedroom to get his uniform.
Ethan opened his wardrobe and grabbed the claret blazer, tie and black trousers which were folded neatly on top of each other and put them on making sure his shirt was tucked in and that he looked as presentable as he possibly could.
Holding onto the hand rail Ethan glided down the stairs only to be greeted by none other than Mrs Carrow. “Breakfasts on the dining room table…enjoy” she said in that same nasally voice “If you need me for anything, I am NOT interested” she snapped at Ethan and started cleaning the fingerprints off the hand rail which Ethan just used.
The Mansion that Ethan lived in was very large, the outside looked very grand with a winding road leading in and out of his father’s property, the gate was made of strong ornate metal with spikes on top, this made it almost impossible to break through or climb over. Inside was just as exclusive, the living room had a gigantic fireplace which made it cosy even though the ceiling was so high. Just above the fireplace was a portrait of his mother and father. His mother was so beautiful. Her long platinum blond hair cascaded over her shoulders which intensified the colour of her crystal blue eyes. As he looked at the large painting he could not help bu

What does your dream house look like?

You can have all the money you want to make your own dream house, what would yours look like?
Mine would be a fairly large 2 story with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. I would have a huge backyard without any houses behind my house and I would have a circle in ground hot tub and a big screened in patio with light green chairs and weaved tables etc.. and a mini little fire pit thing in it. The master bedroom would be really big with a t.v. hanging on the wall in front of my California King Size Memory foam bed with light green sheets. The walls would be painted a light tan/brown color (so earth tones) and a huge bathroom with double doors leading to it. Also the Entrance to the house would have double doors and a fairly large front patio and a 3 car garage. There would be a lot of windows in it and all light colored brick. What would your house look like?

I am looking for free "Nights In White Satin" sheet music for a flute.?

what color sheets/pillowcases should i get?

My room is painted turquoise, a bold colour indeed. I have medium-light natural wood furniture, though i want to paint my furniture either chocolate brown or white.

overall, the decor is rather eclectic, though leaning towards shabby chic. I have a very large french country blue and white vase filled with large peach roses and small white and baby pink flowers, its kinda the center piece, surronded by a couple other more colour full vases/pots from latin america.

My bookshelf is organized into decorative boxes and paper holders that are chocolate brown with white floral pattern. I also plan on getting more victorian/baroque style picture frames in white and/or chocolate brown.

Im in dire need of updating my bedding. I currently have a white quilt with black outline of dainty victorian flowery pattern and dark gray stripes. I would like sheets and pillows to complement this quilt, or I may get a duvet + duvet cover instead.

I already have chocolate brown sheets that I think look amazing, but I want to switch to satin or sateen sheets for the summer. Im also thinkng I could get more pillows in complementary colours/patterns?

so what would look best: light pink sheets, platinum/silver sheets or dark chocolate sheets? Or any other ideas?
To help visualize my room, I’ve made a swatch of colours and patterns already found in my room, on the left, and satin sheets or other elements I want to add more of in my room. colours may not be exact as everyone’s monitor is different.

My friend is a big kid, and I want to get him TMNT king size bed sheets…Any suggestions where to find?

This is a weird question, but my friend is a big kid and I think it would be really funny to get him king size bed sheets OR comforter that are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kids bedding obviously doesn’t come in king size very often and I’m beginning to think this is an impossible gift to find.
If you have any suggestions as to where I might be able to get something like this, please let me know.

Sky awoke to the sound of a horrible coughing. He knew that curdled up across the hall was his father, sitting in his cotton sheets on his king sized bed. Hacking his lungs up. Smoking kills, but it’s addictive. Sky looked over at the clock on the left side of his double bed. The bright red numbers made his eyes sting. He squinted and thought to himself, 5:00 is to early to get up, just an hour longer. But no matter how hard he tried to fall back asleep, the sound of his bedridden father kept him wide awake.
Through the darkness Sky could see the outline of the sunrise, glistening between the cracks of the blinds on his window. The birds chirping gave him a sense of comfort, as if all was going to be okay, just because they were singing their song. He decided that laying there trying to fall asleep wasn’t going to do him any good. Sky slid the covers from his bed down to his ankles and swerved around to get up and find some clothes for school. Skinny jeans or baggy jeans? He thought. He went with a black pair of skinny jeans and a band T-shirt. The Used. His next to favourite. Sky slid on his pants and shirt in the darkness and cold, when he realized that he needed a belt he flicked the switch on and the room around him lit up in a dull, boring sort of way. All of his walls were black with bright, neon pictures and posters taped to the wall. His sheets were black, his carpet was white, his blinds were white and his closet’s border lines were lime green. Nothing too extravagant, just his style. He searched for a belt in the back of his closet. Hot pink, neon blue, white, black with yellow skulls. He couldn’t decide. What would Trent choose? Sky pondered, Trent was Sky’s boyfriend. He got picked on a lot at school because of his sexuality, but he didn’t mind. Sky stood there for a moment, thinking about Trent. Was it love? Or just a false sense of love that kept them going for the two years they had been together.
He didn’t know, but he did know he needed to find a belt. Or else he would be mooning people all day. And that wouldn’t be very good.Sky thought and finally went with the hot pink belt to go along with the white lettering on his band T-shirt. Sky closed his closet doors and looked at himself in the mirror. There was something missing in his outfit. For some reason he knew that it wasn’t complete just yet. He looked around the room trying to find out what it needed. Something, but what something? Sky thought to himself. He spotted a couple of his wrist bands laying on a side table beside his bed. One with rings in it, to make it look like it was full of holes. One with spikes, and one with studs. The spikes were too dangerous, the rings didn’t match, so Sky put on the wrist band with the studs. There now it looked good.
He then proceeded to the bathroom where he would do his hair and make-up. Surprisingly enough, it took Sky close to two hours to do his hair that morning. For some strange reason it wouldn’t cooperate for him. The bathroom smelt like a mixture of candles and hairspray by the time he finished. Sky waited until the straightener cooled down and then he moved on to his make-up. He didn’t go all out like a cross dresser, just some lash blast and eye liner did the trick. As if his eyes needed to stand out more. They were already a shade of bright blue, almost a sea blue, if it wern’t for the golden outline around his eyes you would almost think he had contacts in. Sky hated the color of his eyes, he thought they made him look vulnerable. And he was. But he rarely showed his emotions to anyone accept Trent.
Skylar checked the clock once again. 7:13, shit! Sky bolted down the stairs and rounded the kitchen where is mother was standing at the window having a cigarette.
" Morning, Sky. How did you sleep? " She wheezed at she talked, her voice was scratchy and her skin was pale.
" Fine, mom, but I really have to go. I’ll see you later. Bye! " Sky didn’t like talking to people very much. He was always quiet and when he was younger his parents thought that he was depressed. He wasn’t. He just wasn’t the social type. Which he always thought was funny because Trent was the complete opposite, he was very social. But there wasn’t very many people to talk to these days. All the hate and flaque they both got when people found out they were dating nearly tore Sky apart. He changed. And now he was this. People have stereotypes, they call him and Trent emo. Short form for emotional. But Sky was everything but. Well, that wasn’t entirely true, Sky was emotional, just so emotional that he hardly felt anything at all.
He headed down near the end of the street to the bus stop. He was the only one there. He was always the only one there.

I invited my sister’s husband over the other night because she had to go out of town for training. I made a lovely dinner, some oysters and wine, a Jaggermeister coctail and for dessert, chocolate strawberries and whipped cream. how do i determine what size of fitted sheets fit my pillow top king mattress?

we lucked out with our first set of sheets we bought that fit our bed perfectly and threw the package out. when we went to buy another set it didn’t fit and have gone through a few now. our favorite sheets now have a rip and need to replace it. i can’t seem to figure out what size of deep pockets we need, i have taken a ruler or measuring tape to see the depth of my mattress. is this how you do it? it says it’s 12 inches….i can’t find anything in paperwork on the mattress that says how deep it is. should i go bigger like maybe a 14?
