i’m created a book of gay poems

Pale as rose petals spun of milk
Lovelier then the fallen snow
with lips that run as smooth as silk
what lovelier kiss I have yet to know

To think about him
is of life with out meaning
for it is the flower without a stem
its beauty eternal in him
i fear i cannot approach him

The Honeyed Clouds cry
in a air of moans
for the sun’s smiles dies
each Morn his face isn’t known
soon to ash and burning silk
the sun falls upon his sword
and wises to die

With eyes so Gentle and raw
of subtle charm
the heavens fear to rent and maw
this man of every season
with a face so fair to set this ship
across the worlds tides
to say I’m loved by him
is to state the heavens only glow
yet by him and his subtle hands
i came by the strange to know
what true dreams may be

Raw by his touch
at night
to be soothed by his kiss
the beast knows by night
the truth may be
that life is meant for me

What hope is there in a day
if the skies cried
from his kisses and hand
brings in a day
simple meaning in this world
left little on its hands

What love dares speaks this name
so loud to shout
till the heaves rent in Ecstasy that came
with his innocence
and in the same breath i dare to name
this love
that by mans hands would burn in shame

for is the war between the sheets
worth the morn that bays like dogs in heat
to single out this such strange wisdom
pursued by his even stranger hands

Two questions. I found a seceret compartment in an old steamer trunk I bought years ago.?

This old steamer trunk has produced like a treasure chest for me. Got it at auction, fully locked, unopened and had all kinds of expensive goodies inside. The trunk was raggedy on the outside and it did have a mildew smell so I knew something inside was bad. Turned out to be sheets and linens with large initials embodied on each initials DK. B. and a crest. They were full of holes and had rotted except for the silk thread work. And worth zip. But, there was also something rolled on the outside in raw canvas and inside rolled with some sort of waxed paper. It was a large rug made of silk all made in large knots. There were also some silver and gold coins everyone dated the same 1910 and there were 12 of each and all were French. The coins and the rug were worth a large amount and did provide a wild payback for the cost of the trunk. But, not a clue where it came from or who owned it once other than it had been in New Orleans all those years quietly rotting away.
The trunk seemed to have been owned by either someone else, rented or who knows. It does have L.V. stamped into the two brass handles and right under the front lock. all corners and side straps are made of brass and there were leather bands that have long since rotted away and canvas that has rotted and only strips remain under the straps and brass. I pulled on piece out last week and it too had L.V. on it. BUT, here is the wild part. The trunk was in our atick full of our junk and old items and getting it down a false bottom breaks open. We all searched for a lever or opener but there was none. Seems it had been nailed in place all this time. And inside the little compartment we found Two very very old Cameras. Each wrapped in the same wax type paper. One has a black leather case and strap like new. One has a green case and off all things it is green! A green camera! Both Cameras it seems are Plenax and use an odd type of film. And to our amazement they both are in great shape. No rust or breakage. But, another surprise is that we were very careful opening both cameras in case there was film still inside. Each one we discovered how to open being very careful and then placed inside a Film changing type bag. Actually a large thick black bag since it was large enough and totally dark. We found a full roll of exposed film inside the Green Camera! Its Kodak Film With black wheels and Red Paper with Yellow Printing stating its exposed? Its Verichrome Film Pan 620? Once I felt the film I placed some tape around it so it would not just curl open and ruin any possible pictures.

Anyone know where we could get this possibly very important film looked at to see if it could still be developed? Somewhere here in the Dallas Fort Worth Area or some local expert? Further, anyone know of someone known as L.V. from france or someone named DK. B. Also from france or elsewhere? ok well im re-doing my room and first of i’m painting the walls light tan. then i want black sheets and black curtains. then i want to put a red silk comforter on top with a bunch of red silk pillows and just plain black ones then i want a big black rug on my carpet how do you think that would look..oh and do you no where i could find the red sild comforter.. i want it all red maybe with like black stripes on it or somthing.. thankyou for yer time [:

Actually if you could give me your opinions too, that be great.

Sometimes I just can’t help myself—it’s a guilty pleasure. Actually, I don’t have guilty pleasures. I do what I want and don’t regret it. Like just last night, I felt like eating pancakes, so I googled “pancake recipe” and I found one which wasn’t too difficult. So about ten minutes later, I have these fluffy, essentially flat cupcakes, riddled with chocolate bullets, at two in the morning. Why would I regret that? Now I consider myself to be a pancake connoisseur, and these moist creations belong on Food Network, then again most everything my palate tastes at 2 a.m. is worthy of a Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh yes, guilty pleasures.
The entire notion of guilty pleasures confuses me, why feel bad about feeling good? Maybe it’s because I don’t have Catholic guilt… or ovaries. I think while you’re doing something good, you should enjoy yourself, not to mention go 110%. The apt old saying is “kicking ***, and taking names”. Wait; is that an old saying, let alone the correct saying? And then where does asking questions before kicking *** and take names come into play? I think that as long as I make a swift decision, and can live with it, that’s the right decision. Unless the ends justify the means? Or isn’t that unjust? Who knew how confusing and contradicting sayings are. Does the early bird get the worm, or does the bird that waited have good things come to him? This is really more for philosophy, not an English essay, right?
Wow, this is getting away from me, I need to steer this train back onto track. Sometimes I just can’t help myself. When I’m talking about one thing, often I drift to another. Kind of like how when I’m at the beach, and I leave something in the water and it floats away. Actually, this reminds me of a good story. I was about six, maybe seven, and my family and I took a weekend trip to the beach. And my mother bought me this nice set of sand tools, a kit composed of a mini-shovel, bucket, castle molds, and animal molds. So I decided to be David Copperfield and make that blue shovel, wait for it, disappear! I placed in the tide, and it was gone! My mother wasn’t as impressed as I was.
No matter how many times I nervously said “tada” and my eyes apologized, my mother was just disappointed, and my plastic scooper still was gone. Her judgmental look told me I just threw away what she bought for me. Fearing I’d never get another toy ever again, I anxiously dug and dug and dug for that puckish blue shovel but came up as empty as my reasoning. Luckily, that terrible tide brought back my shovel. My mother; however, wasn’t as excited as I.
Oh, I’m drifting again. Like my balloon I got for good grades endlessly drifting into the sky, until—no, back to what I was saying. Sometimes I just can’t help myself, when I start talking about one thing; my mind wanders like a lost child at a State Fair until he finds his dad, who buys him a lemonade, to another topic. I don’t succumb to this “guilty pleasure” because I have ADD (or is it ADHD?), because I don’t, but rather for a reason that appeals to me. I have a creative mind, and enjoy telling my memories as the colorful adventures they are, instead of locking them up in a tower, so I, the prince, could rescue them—I mean, rather, so no one could see what I spun into fantastic weavings, made from the finest silk. But of course, I have learned to control my silk spinning.
Which reminds me that I need new bed sheets; my old ones got torn up last night, and here the kicker, while I was sleeping. I wonder what I did, maybe I should record myself sleep, I hear that’s what people do when they do things in their sleep. Anyway, it’s splendid having self-control, no longer do I go off on tangents or eat late night pancakes. Actually, scratch that part about the pancakes.

What is your favorite detergent and fabric softener combination?

I am obsessed with the way my laundry smells and am always trying new scent combinations. I use ALL Small and Mighty, and when I needed softener this time, I picked up a bottle of Snuggle Blue Iris and Bamboo Silk, and the smell if just so crisp and clean. Plus, the 96 load bottle was only 6.98. For my sheets I use Downy Lavender Serenity.

So…what are detergents and softeners do you like the best?

Where to find un-fitted sheets for crib / daybed?

My 2 year old son sleeps in his crib, which has the front removed and converted into a daybed. Anyone know where to find a sheet that is the same size as a standard crib mattress, but that’s not fitted? Everywhere I look I can only find fitted crib sheets. The only regular sheet sets I can find for kids beds are for twin or full size beds.

Good or Bad. I just want to know

I gasped in surprise as the monotone of beeps coming from my alarm clock, interrupted my previous dream. I had no intention of being annoyed, the dream I experienced made me tremble, waking me up in cold sweat at three in the morning. I lay in my plush bed silently, gripping the black silk sheets hoping to stop trembling, to grab hold of my fear, and let it go. I couldn’t force myself to believe the five words I have been trying to convince myself of the past week. I would continuously tell myself it was nothing more than a dream, still a week after I first started having the horrid dream of the shadows, I could not believe those words. I knew, some part in the back of my mind knew that the shadows were as much as real as the sky, and possibly as inevitable as breathing. Every night it was the same lucid dream, the shadows whispering in there scratchy voices. Even as I lay here in bed remembering their voice I tremble and cringe, and remember as their voices emit a screech, like nails on a chalk board. I controlled my breathing, so I was no longer gasping for air, my chest rose and fell rapidly. I closed my eyes for a moment, trying to clear my mind free of the shadows, trying to rid the dreadful feeling that they could see me as well as I could see them.
