Ok, first of all, you just described the colors in my wedding. When I first heard what colors they were going to be, I thought this is not going to look good. But, when it was all put together, it turned out pretty good.
First, you want the curtains to match your furniture. This will tie the two together and your furniture won’t be the only thing that is the color of espresso.
Second, find a rug that has both colors. This will pull the two colors in the room together. If you can’t find one, Go with the espresso color.
Finally, I really do not like the 5 light lamp, but that’s me. However, if you want this lamp, try adding an espresso or blue shaded covers to the lamp or amber or blue light bulbs inplace of the white bulbs.
You can also add light and dark blue flowers in an espresso color vase to help bring it all together. Adding light blue colors to the room will help brighten the room some.
I think it will look great…
It’s your room make it exactly how you want it.
Very pretty wall color. The floor lamp is adorable and I know a lot of people who have them and it reflects their personality. But it is more modern looking as oppose to the leopard print and fur bedspread. You could do your curtains in a white, cream, or espresso and go for sort of a softer natural look with dark brown cream and blue.
A rug in any of those colors would also work. If you have a lot of patterns in your room, go for a more solid blue or brown rug, or if its mostly solids like the walls and sheets than get a pattern or another leopard print.
Go for a simple, clean white to match the pillow and floor lamp. And a simple leopard leopard print rug. If youo cant find one get royal blue to match the bed. Use royal blue, light blue, leopard print, brown/auburn, and white accessories and decorations throughout the room to pull it all together. Your new room sounds great!!
1. I think you should not keep the faux fur brown blanket and keep the royal blue shhets… Try to find a darker colour of the sheets for the blankets.
2.The pillows, cute ♥
3. The curtains could be royal blue too or cream
4.Perfect for lamp
5. the rug should be the same as the curtains
6. It all sounds good together
REMEMBER THAT I’M ANSWERING FROM WHAT I SEE IN MY MIND. I’M NOT AN INTERIOR DESIGNER SO I CAN’T BE ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT YOU WILL LOVE THE COMBO OF WHAT I JUST SAID
Love the wall color. Your bed sett sounds really cute, it will look great.
The lamp, definatly.
Curtains-either try to get some aqua and brown curtins, or you could get some soft mocha colored curtains.
For an area rug, same as the curtains, maybe cirles os squares, something that looks modern and chic.
Everything sounds great. I’m so jealous!
Good luck!
