How can i decorate my room to fit my comforter?

I have a pink and (light/ lime) green plaid comforter for my dorm room next year (i’m going to have my own). I did really decorate much this year and i want to have a really nice put together room next year. I’m really not into flowery things or into a lot of pink, so how can i decorate to fit my comforter ( i don’t want to go out and spend another 100 bucks for a new comforter)

What causes problems on the cruise control on a Road King?

I have a 2005 Harley Road King, I flip the left switch and the red light comes on, but I can’t set the speed with the right switch. The obvious answer, is the right switch just worn out, or could something else be wrong? thanks

what color sheets/pillowcases should i get?

My room is painted turquoise, a bold colour indeed. I have medium-light natural wood furniture, though i want to paint my furniture either chocolate brown or white.

overall, the decor is rather eclectic, though leaning towards shabby chic. I have a very large french country blue and white vase filled with large peach roses and small white and baby pink flowers, its kinda the center piece, surronded by a couple other more colour full vases/pots from latin america.

My bookshelf is organized into decorative boxes and paper holders that are chocolate brown with white floral pattern. I also plan on getting more victorian/baroque style picture frames in white and/or chocolate brown.

Im in dire need of updating my bedding. I currently have a white quilt with black outline of dainty victorian flowery pattern and dark gray stripes. I would like sheets and pillows to complement this quilt, or I may get a duvet + duvet cover instead.

I already have chocolate brown sheets that I think look amazing, but I want to switch to satin or sateen sheets for the summer. Im also thinkng I could get more pillows in complementary colours/patterns?

so what would look best: light pink sheets, platinum/silver sheets or dark chocolate sheets? Or any other ideas?
To help visualize my room, I’ve made a swatch of colours and patterns already found in my room, on the left, and satin sheets or other elements I want to add more of in my room. colours may not be exact as everyone’s monitor is different.

How many LOADS (not pounds) will laundry bag hold?

How many LOADS of laundry will a 30" x 40" laundry bag hold? The bag is made of cloth, not mesh, so there is little to no stretching of the bag. She uses standard/residential size, top load washers and is fair with her loads (8 to 10 premium bath towels is a load or a standard/queen mattress set of sheets (flat, fitted, and two pillow cases) is a load. How can I dry pillows fast without using a dryer?

My son wet his bed last night and also managed to get his pillow wet. So I thought I would wash his pillow along with my oldest son’s pillow so the washer would not be lopsided. Now my dryer isn’t working and I have two very wet pillows. What is the fastest way to get them dry without my dryer?

I am very clean. I wash my hair daily and change my sheets and pillow cases about 2 times a week, but they smell like greasy hair. I know it is disqusting. I wash them in the hottest water available and use tide. Any suggestions to get this greasy hair smell outa my cases.
I am a nurse, I wash my hair before I leave for work in the am and after work. I have used everything from Suave to Head and shoulders. The pillows are less than 3 mos old. My son has the same greasy hair smell in his pillow cases. Thanks for the excellent response. I will try some of these things.

How do I know if bed bugs have traveled to other areas of the house?

My one roommate definitely has evidence of bed bugs in his room and has since gotten rid of his mattress and box spring. My question is how easily can the move to other rooms of the house? And if I have not noticed any evidence of them in my room, is there chances that they are still there? The rooms are about 20 feet apart separated by a large open area with clothes closets in between.
