How do you clean and disinfect your baby's microplush toys and blankets?

Some of my favorite blankets and toys for my son are micro plush or a plush shag. I want to clean and sanitize them, but I am scared I will ruin such beloved items. What do you do to keep the integrity of the plush items fur or fabric?
No tags on these toys and blanket for washing instructions.

Cold water in a gentle wash might be best. Plain white vinegar works great as a fabric softener and helps disinfect use 1/2-1 cup depending on load size. Air dry in the sun if you can
Just wash them in whatever laundry soap you use.
If you want if the blankets are seriously teeming with bacteria (in a moldy or musty closet or something) add some antibacteria dish soap, or baby oxiclean (it won’t ruin it I’ve done it too)
Then re wash with laundry soap and fabric softener. That should do it.
It should say on the tag how to clean it, I know with one of my sons animals it says you can wash it in the washer but then another one of his toys says you cant and you have to just clean it with a cloth which doesn’t seem very clean to me.
Ive used a small laundry bag to wash some of my sons plush/stuffed toys in. Gets them clean and helps not to distort the toy. But most toys (if it didnt have a tag) I washed it in cold or warm water(depending on the fabric of the toy) with laundry soap. Air dry. All of his toys has came out fine.
use baby safe washing detergent. 20mls of antibacterial disinfectant and wash no higer than 40 degrees
