My almost 6 month old fell off the futon today and onto the floor. How long should we wait b4 he naps?

We carefully examined him and he has a small scratch on his head, but otherwise he is normal. He is eating, playing, smiling, laughing … etc. It has been two and a half hours and he is ready for a nap. Should we let him sleep?

My son has fallen off our futon also twice. The doctor said to give him about a hour or so and then he can nap. As long as he is acting like himself then he should be fine. My son falls down all the time and bumps his head.
yes he should be able to nap now. i would just check on him if you can.
Yes, let him sleep, but be sure to wake him up every hour for the next 24 hours. Call the Doctor if you have any concerns.
Generally if they fall and instantly go to sleep then there is cause for worry. But if he has been playing and eating and all that then he is ready for a nap with no worries.

it’s fine since he is acting normally. if it will make you feel better keep an eye on him and after a few minutes try waking him if he wakes easily or cries when you try then he’s just fine.
