My daughter got a twin size bed a few months back shes going to be 3 in march and shes potty trained during the day and even at nap time but night time is a different world lol. When i do start putting her in her undies for night time and stop giving her all that water before bed and such i know i need a mattress pad for her new bed but i dont have one, can i use the mattress pad from her toddler bed to prevent accidents from leaking to the mattress or is it not built the same way as a twin bed mattress pad would be built? Just wondering, i was hopeing i could save some money on buying one until after the holidays.
Has anyone tried it?
Thanks in advance.
i mean thanks for the advice

I’m looking for a vintage kind of look and my walpaperr is blue and floral, other then that my room is very white. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you
My wife and I need a new bed–mattress is almost 10 years old now, and we keep tossing and turning.
We need a new bed. Tempur Pedic is like 00-00 with like 20 year warranty I think. Perfect Sleep is listed 20. Any personal experiences would be helpful
I need a mattress and I can’t afford to spend the 9 (cheapest price I found so far) and I don’t want one of those "always a little short" compressed mattresses. I was thinking…can I buy a soft side water bed mattress and fill it with air instead of water? I found one for like 0, a little more affordable. I have a split queen box spring to put it on.
I am trying to possibly purchase a used mattress off craigslist that this couple bought at the air force base store (so I’m guessing this particular brand is not available to the general public). Anyway they are telling me it is Serta ‘Simply Perfect’ NOT ‘Perfect Sleeper’. Also told me it is a posturepedic and a pillowtop. I have looked and looked and looked to find a pic of this bed/mattress (queen size by the way) for a pic on the internet, plus I want to read some reviews of this particular mattress on the internet. But I can’t find it? and FYI: They sent me a pic message over my cell phone and I seen with my own eyes this ‘Simply Perfect’ but just can’t find on the internet. So if anyone out there reading this has a site for me to look at, please let me know. Thanks
we have 2 ez bed mattress they are about the size of a toddler mattress, we use them everyday because i take care of a couple of kids plus my own during the week. We just noticed that there is a tiny hole in the mattress, only about the size of the tip of a sewing needle, but it’s enough that if you lay a child down on it to nap, after about 10-15 minutes it is already mostly deflated. I have already asked this question but was wanting more answers than what i got. I know I need some sort of patch for it but where would I buy one and specifically what type. I’m looking for someone to give me a brand name, something that I can easily look up and find. Thanks all!
I have a queen size bed (mattress and box spring) and just purchased a queen size 4" Serta memory foam topper. I can’t find any recommendations as to whether I’m supposed to sleep directly on the foam or if I should have a bed sheet on the foam.
How long after opening up the mattress should I wait before sleeping on it? Remember, these things smell a bit funky at first.
My husband and I bought a new bed and mattress. The mattress got here the day before the bed so it was left to air out in the spare room. The next day the bed was delivered so we set it all up. I noticed a smell in the bedroom afterward so we decided to sleep in the spare room because our 3 month old still sleeps in the same room as us. I am breast feeding and not ready to sleep away from her, but she IS in her own crib. We have left the bed to air out now for 5 days because I have still been concerned about possible fumes. The smell is definitely not as strong and my husband can’t even smell it, but I am super paranoid.
We were going to try sleeping in there tonight. Point is, I wanted to know what other people think. Has it been long enough for any thing harmful to be out? Do you think it will be fine since she is in her own crib? Or does any one know about new mattresses being bad for babies?
I am sorry if it wasn’t clear, but the new mattress is not the baby’s mattress. Rather, it is a king size mattress for my husband and I. She is in her own crib with her own mattress, but my fear is regarding her being in close proximity to the smell of the new bed/mattress.
Thanks!
I think the smell is from storing a number of different stronger smelling vitamins/minerals in the cabinets (took them out). But also the smell seems to be in the bed mattress, it is a mystery to me… but I would like to know if there is anything that will neutralize the smell. I have tried air fresheners and baking soda and airing out but the vitamin smell just continues to take over and permeate.
I am not so dumb as to just try and flop a water bed mattress on the frame by itself but can i use the box spring then the mattress or do i have to actually have the water bed "box" etc. Ive seen it done but I do not know how they made it work. HELP!
I have lower back pain since 2 and half years old and I don’t know if I should buy a MAGNETIC BED/MATTRESS PAD on eBay. For details on the item, click on http://cgi.ebay.com/1000-MAGNETIC-BED-MATTRESS-PAD-4-ARTHRITIS-HEALING_W0QQitemZ160054864953QQihZ006QQcategoryZ11777QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I live in Philadelphia and was wondering, how do people usually throw out their old bed mattress. Can you just throw it out and let the garbage men come and get it? Or must I call someone from the district to set up a pickup date for something in that size?
