I recently purchased black and white damak bedding that I love off of walmart.com. I’m moving into a new dorm room for the summer, and want to use my damask bedding for my bed. I want to use a bright color for my room as an accent to the damask. Right now I have light pink sheets. I was thinking a mixture of pink accents and light sky blue bed sheets. Maybe a blue satin sheet set? What do you think? Do you have any pictures of a room with black and white damask bedding? Please share if you do! I need ideas!!!’

This is a weird question, but my friend is a big kid and I think it would be really funny to get him king size bed sheets OR comforter that are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kids bedding obviously doesn’t come in king size very often and I’m beginning to think this is an impossible gift to find.
If you have any suggestions as to where I might be able to get something like this, please let me know.

watched the whole incident, walked up and asked, ‘What the heck is going on
here?’

a ghost.’

When I was first married (a long time ago) I was given a great set of bed sheets that were wrinkle free and pet hair would not stick to, now I am not sure what they were made of. I have tried Egyptian Cotton and Sateen but its not either of them. Anyone have any ideas? They were also very cool in the summer.

I have tons of flat bed sheets lying around since I never put them on my bed. I already saw a video on youtube on how to make a sheet into a pouch sling ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAWAk4svsl8) and it made me wonder if I can make one into a moby wrap type sling. I know they should have some stretch and the sheets don’t have any. How important is it for the fabric to be stretchable ( 95% cotton and 5% spandex)?

A few of the sheets I glanced at were like 90% cotton 10% polyester or 80% polyester 20% cotton….I know if I can make slings out of those they would be more of an autumn sling since its a fabric that will make you hot and sweaty in warm weather.

I know gauze type fabrics work but I’m just trying to find something that I want ( a moby type wrap) with stuff lying around the house.

I asked it on another category and someone said once a week… Which is very hard to believe if you want to spend 1 day of the week washing your whole family’s sheets and etc. So, how many times a month, every 2 months, etc. do you wash your sheets? Okay, so in about 4 weeks I am going to be moving out and into a college dorm. I am going to be a freshman, so I’m excited and nervous at the same time. Anyway, I wanted to get some new bed sheets for my bed at college. Plus, I haven’t had fresh, new bed sheets in awhile. I have enough money for them, and would be paying for them with my own money, but my mom doesn’t think so. I found a set that I love for only , and it comes with One reversible comforter, Two sham(s), One bedskirt, One flat sheet, One fitted sheet, Two pillow cases. I think it’s a pretty good deal for only , but should I spend my money on it? Or could I find something cheaper? Stupid question, I know, but I really need some more opinions as to if I should keep looking or buy it?

My wife and I recently purchased a new king, upgrading from our queen. I’ve been looking around at bed sheets. It seems that Egyptian Cotton is pretty much the standard. However, I see some sheets that claim 100% Egyptian Cotton 1000 thread count and others that are priced – higher with the same or even less thread count. How do I know how to find quality sheets that will last? Are there any recommended brands?
