I read that I could put cinder /concrete) blocks under a box spring (bed skirt to cover it obviously) to make it higher and give storage underneath a bed.. after realizing how heavy those are, realized I can’t do that. Also heard of people using crates (the usual kind of crates, at grocers, etc.) to raise it up. I’m wondering if that’d provide enough support for the box spring and mattress? Has anyone tried it.. and lastly, I did get rid of my bed frame since being at the top level (my apt.,) i thought it made too much noise, now the bed is just too low…has anyone heard of having two box springs to raise a bed, and what sort of feel would that give the bed then?? Thanks!

Hello. I have a brand new really tall bed. I don’t think I’d have bought it if I’d known how tall, but it’s really comfy. Anyway, technically it’s a queen but deep pocket sheets don’t fit. Some suggested in an early question of mine, extra deep pockets. I’ll be doing that. But here are some more questions…
1) Will the flat sheet also be extra long so it drapes properly?
2) I have a full/queen comforter that is far too "short". Should I go for a king
3) I want to get a bed skirt. Do they make those in like "tall" also
I’m almost thinking of returning the bed because of this unexpected problem.
Heeeelllp meeee.
Thanks.

My comforter on my bed says ‘dry clean only’. so do the shams and bed skirt. there is somehow a stain on the comforter, so before I decide about taking it to the dry cleaners, can someone tell me how they work and if they get stains out of clothing? its like a light brown stain, kind of like rust but lighter, like maybe water spilled on it. please help!

I know I have to get rid of the mattress but what about my sheets, comforter, pillow cases and bed skirt, will all of them have to go as well? Oh and what kind of medical steps should I take in getting rid of these bumps and stuff? (Almost forgot that part. LOL)
Just so I don’t get another ignorant answer. The bed was used so it’s not my cleanliness that caused them to be. I couldn’t afford a new bed at the time but in the future I will buy new for sure.

We are moving soon and our almost 3 year old daughter is inheriting our full size bed. We will not have a frame for it and we were thinking of just setting it on the floor. It will sit almost 2 feet off the ground and will have a bed skirt around it. We figure it will be easier for her to get in and out of since it will be lower to the floor.
What’s your opinion of no bed frame?

Just got it today. As I was putting the bed skirt on, i tugged a little on it and the seam just ripped apart! Idk if I should be upset or not. I don’t want the rest of the bed set to be this way. It’s fairly pricey also. Any advice? Thank you in advance
This is the first time I have bought bedding from them.. generally is it a good store to buy from?

I cant decide between white or pink.
My sheets are all white and my comforter cover is pink. The bed is put to the wall so my comforter hangs past the bed quite a bit, so if a bed skirt is put on, it would show…but more like peek.
I was thinking pink, because it will match my comforter cover and then I was thinking white because then it would contrast with my comforter and I can change comforter covers colors. But i was also thinking i already have white sheets, would white on white be too funny looking?
Any ideas would be helpful, thank you

Hello. I’m currently planning out a whole new bedroom set for my room. I decided that since I’m getting bored with my current bedding, then I’ll just add a new bedding set to the online cart, for an extra 40 dollars. Well, the only bed that I could find to match the dresser was a platform bed. The bedding that I want includes a bed skirt, and it completes the whole set. Will a bed skirt look right on a platform twin bed? I don’t want to waste 40 dollars if it’s going to look strange. I’ll probably have a matress and boxspring on the bed, with the bedskirt on the boxspring. But I don’t know if the platform part will be bulkier than the boxspring, enough to be noticable. Thank you!

I really need a red gathered wrap around cal king bed skirt. I cannot find one anywhere. I did have one made by a so called seamstress and it is outrageously too big. I have to go with one that has a 14" drop. I cannot lift the entire mattress this size so a wrap around is the best way to go.

i’m buying a 7 piece bedding set and it comes with 1 Pc Queen Comforter, 1 Pc Square Cushion, 2 Pcs Queen Shams, 1 Pc Bed Skirt, 1 Pc Breakfast Pillow, 1 Pc Neckroll Pillow.
So whats the difference between the bed sham and bed skirt? Do I put both on the bed? What else do I need to complete the bedding? It doesn’t come with sheets..

If I have a mattress with no box spring, I need a metal bed frame, right? So if I get a metal bed frame, can I put a bed skirt on it? How does it go on? And can I put a headboard on a metal frame?

I’d like to cover up the space underneath my dorm bed with a bed skirt. I’m considering getting a little creative and using a tension rod and then threading it through a bed skirt so i could slide it back and forth for easy access under my bed. Has anyone ever done this? Some tips would be great!

…not a king -sized denim bed skirt to be found. Can someone help me, please
I just need a bed-skirt, or "dust ruffle" made of denim to go with my new quilt. It is a Natalie Quilt by Liz Claiborne that I purchased at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

I have no idea what color I should put on my walls. Right now they are purple with green trim. I have a fuchsia comforter with brown and fuchsia pillows and sheets with a pale yellow bed skirt (i know it sounds like it clashes), and I also have African Mahogany hardwood. I am redecorating though. I was thinking of having darker pink walls with lighter pink trim with one wall having lighter pink circles or hearts on it.. Any imputs, ideas or even color shades? 10 points!
