I painted my bedroom recently (with Behr’s Dried Palm), but the color was not quite what I expected. I was aiming for a calm atmosphere, but once on the wall, the paint turned out to be overwhelmingly bright. Unfortunately at this point, repainting doesn’t seem to be an option. Is there a way that I can use other colors in the room, (like maybe in the bedspread?) to make the green color seem more relaxing?

I’m redecorating my tiny room, and since painting is "out of the question", i’m stuck with these awful, beige-ish brown walls.
I’m kind of trying to go with a purple & blue theme. (my bedspread is blue, my mirror and shoe-rack are purple, etc.)

I really want my room to feel tropical. My walls are orange not to bright not to soft. My bedspread is white with a few big colors stretched across the middle. I don’t know how to make it feel more tropical for not a lot of money. An ideas?

I am wanting a completly black and silver bedroom with maybe a hint of color here and there. I want the decorations to be skulls, electric guitars, lightening bolts, tombstones, crosses, dragons, snakes, and things like that. I just don’t know where to look to find this stuff. I thought Spencers would have what I wanted but I can’t find a bedspread and that type of thing. Help!!! I need to get this done by the end of this month and I am at a loss.

I am now the keeper of my great-grandmother’s dimensional rose block crocheted bedspread. A few tie off knots have come undone and the spread has not been laundered (or even used) in 10 to 15 years. I’m pretty sure the yarn is acrylic or polyester but I have absolutely no crochet experience.

What is the best way to fix the undone knots and clean the spread? I’d love to keep it around for another 50 years.

I want to re-do my room, but i can’t change the wall color which is two shades of yellow, so i need to find a bedspread that’s affordable and matches yellow. It doesn’t have to be all yellow, just a little or maybe it doesn’t have to have yellow at all, but it does have to look good with the color yellow. Any links or suggestions please??

I want to know how to dye my light green and gold bedspread completely white by bleaching it? Is this possible? I want to change it up and keep the same one, but have a different color! Do I soak it all in bleach for an hour or so? then wash it? what type of bleach? All serious answers and explainations would be appreciated! thanks!
