My cotten & down blankets keep getting bundled in their duvet covers (I don’t mean when I wash them, just during normal use when sleeping, etc). What’s the best way to secure them? My mom used to use a diaper pin at the corners, but those are ugly and dangerous. Is there a better way?

Do you have to buy the set which is like a bumper,blanket, ruffle, and crib sheet or can you just buy a crib sheet. I already have tons of blankets and dont really care about a ruffle. So I guess I am asking people advice on what I should do. Should I buy the whole bundle or just buy a crib sheet. Also whats the bumper and do I really need it? thanx for ur time

Where can I find baby bedding – sheets, blankets, etc – with music notes? Something simple, like black notes/clefs scattered over white sheets would be perfect. Thanks!

In the last case scenario, an exterminator did come through here, but it was such a hassel having to put all clothing, linens, blankets away in plastic bags. Now these bugs are here again, and it’s -10 outside. My roommate won’t do the hassel again.
How can I take care of bed bugs myself? without the hassel? I just don’t want to get bitten in my bed at night. What will at least help?

I asked it on another category and someone said once a week… Which is very hard to believe if you want to spend 1 day of the week washing your whole family’s sheets and etc. So, how many times a month, every 2 months, etc. do you wash your sheets? I’ve already tried several things and failed. I washed all my blankets. Do I have to add something to the wash? Or, make sure I use hot water? I also sprinkled flea powder on the mattress and blankets, but that did not work. It’s been over a year since I’ve had cats, so what is biting me?
Why are blankets, comforters, sheets and pillows so expensive ?
I can see if they are HAND sewn but ALL the ones I see are too expensive and are not hand sewn they come off machines that probably pump out 1000 at a time.

One of my friends is expecting in Nov and she wants to do the baby’s room in snowmen for the winter. She having a girl so she wants lots of pink and purple, She just needs the bedding, like bumper pads, blankets, sheets, a few stuffed snowmen, and stuff like that. She doesn’t want to over do it.
I did my laundry a few nights ago & these blankets stayed damped. I let them sitting folded on the floor & my sister told me it was a bad idea. I guess her theory was right. Because now there’s moss on them.
What do I do?? Do I wash them again.. throw them away? Or disinfect them with something special..??

i have alot of winnie the pooh classic and non classic bedroom toys blankets nightlights wall tapestries sheets comforters etc. in good to great condition however they take up alot of storage how much would they sell for on e-bay or at a yard sell? They are very expensive when new.
if you could fall asleep anywhere, on anything and with anyone…where/who/what would it be??
id want to fall asleep on a ginormous soft bed with four blankets…egyptian cotton sheet followed by a soft nap blanket, then a quilt to maintain warmth, then a poofy comforter..(i sleep with 4 every night i freeze lol if you cant tell) along with my buddie =). wed be outside on the deck of a fancy, small hotel in Hawaii..secluded and you could see and hear the ocean but no one can see or hear us =P lol perfect…or i could go with a cozy warm cabin lit by a fireplace in the mountains in Colorado….or on a yacht in Lake Michigan =)

So my guinea pig is going to have a C&C cage, and the blankets will obviously need to be cleaned. The people who use the washer and dryer in my house aren’t comfortable with me washing the fleece in there, with the poos and the pee and stuff. The local laundromat is about 20 minutes away, which is a problem. Is there any way for me to hand-wash it, while still getting the smell and bacteria out of the material? What should I do??
