Almost all the ones I’ve seen on internet shopping sites are the type that lie over the boxspring under the mattress. I hate having to wrestle my heavy king mattress every time I need get to my dust ruffle. I want the elastic wraparound kind. It also MUST have split corners since I have a 4-poster bedframe. Any suggestions?

Here is what happened:
- On June 4th, I purchased a queen size mattress + matching boxspring from a store and drove them home
- When I took them home and unwrapped them, I found the mattress was a smaller size (full size instead of a queen)
- I informed the manager of the mistake. He said he would deliver a queen size to me and take back the full in 2 weeks.
- On the delivery date, it did not arrive
- I called back again, and once again he apoplogized and said he would send out a queen today
- Once again, today it did not arrive
I feel that I should get some sort of reimbursement for this third inconvienience.
What should I do? What would you do if you were in my position?

I only need one for like 20 minutes max,but I’d be willing to pay as if it were a complete hour.Just need help moving a mattress(with boxspring), a headboard and a loveseat up some stairs into my new apartment.Do you think it would even be worth it for them to take the job?I just need one person since my bf will be helping get it up the stairs.

We had a boxspring in storage briefly; unfortunately, during the couple of weeks it was in storage the area flooded, and about three inches of the boxspring got wet. We did not discover this for almost a week. The boxspring is completely dry now, but that three inches has a watermark and also an unpleasant odor. Is there any way to clean it, or do I need to give in and buy an allergy cover for it? We can’t afford to replace it right now, and we need to be able to use it again ASAP!

I have bed bugs. I get multiple bites on my hands almost every night.
I have enclosed the boxspring with a latex cover, but the bites continue. I’ve sprayed with Home Depot insecticide, which says on the bottle that it kills bedbugs. I’ve sprayed every inch of my bedroom with this junk, multiple MULTIPLE times, including spraying the mattress. I’ve also done the routine of washing all bedding in hot water (I do it just about weekly).
I’ve spent so much money on this, it’s ridiculous, from replacing pillows to paying exterminators to buying mattress enclosures. Do I really have to just accept that insects dine on my blood nightly and smear it on my sheets as they depart? Do I have to move and trash all furniture and belongings? Should I go to bed in a beekeeper’s suit? What’s a guy to do?

My cat has recently started scratching on my boxspring of my bed, also a kitchen chair. Other than that, she uses her scratching post. How do I get her to stop scratching where I don’t want her to scratch and stick to her post?

They told me to unscrew my electrical outlet covers. Since my bed is a mattress & boxspring on the floor should I lean them against the wall or something?

I am thinking of building a bed frame that would essentially put the mattress on a platform with a sheet of plywood underneath. The boxspring is going to make the bed too high to get into.
Should I build shorter to keep the boxspring in use for the warranty, or does it even matter? It will still be a sturdy, level area for the mattress to sit on.
