I have tried delias, pbteen, urban outfitters and VSpink to look for a new comforter.
Any other stores that sell good comforters in blue or orange?

There used to be a lady that made custom canopy comforter sets on ebay they were really gorgeous. The comforters had a princess theme. If anyone knows this lady please have her to email me at Terran_White@yahoo.com.

I’ve gone through three or four blankets now because my oldest rat enjoys eating them.

I also have chords on my computer an AC that I don’t want chewed up.

I want to let my rats have free roam of my room while I’m in there, but I can’t afford to replace all of my bed sheets and comforters again. lol

How many sets of sheets do you think a household of three adults needs to have on hand? If they have a clothes dryer for quick turnaround? (I have three sets of winter flannel and two of summer percale.)

I ask because I’m consolidating my parents’ household and mine, since they’re losing some of their coping ability. They are both scary pack rats. They probably have three dozen sets of sheets, among other things obviously more than they need. They are not going to want to give any away, but I don’t have storage space for three dozen sets of sheets, two dozen blankets, ten pillows, ten quilts and comforters, and the other many extras they have. There needs to be some room in the house for the people and the cats.

I’ve already vetoed storage space for the four sets of dishes and kazillion extra glasses they have, and for three huge desks that probably weigh more than most people’s cars. I just wonder how many sheets reasonably sane people out there believe they need, as a starting point for the discussion they and I are going to have to have.

I have 2 twin size comforters that are so noisy I can’t use em. The cover is 100& Cotton, fill is min. 75% white duck down. Other than taking it to a pond and giving it back to the ducks, does anyone have an idea of how to quiet down this horribly noisy comforter????

I bought an air mattress to sleep on- but I have a cat. It likes to be on my bed, my main fear is it poking a hole in the mattress. I need to buy something to adequitely protect the mattress from my cat’s nails.

I do cut my cats nails, but it’s still a hazard.

So tell me what I can put on the bed that could protect it from cat nails. I want to keep the bed soft though.

I’ve already considered super fluffy comforters. I’m looking for other options though.

What are those mattress wedge thingy’s that are bought to connect two twin sized bed and converts to a king size? You know where it smoothes the gap in the middle for sheets and comforters to fit? I used to see these in catalogs but don’t know where to find one now. If you could find a link or something it would be great! Thanks!

Ok, so my husband and I made the HUGE mistake of buying an extra thick mattress when we purchased our bedroom furniture. It’s been almost 4 years, and we are still having a hard time finding bedding. It seems that sheets that should be able to handle a 22" thick mattress don’t fit our bed, and comforters that fit the mattress are no where to be found… laying a king sized comforter over our mattress only comes halfway down the sides. Of course my husband doesn’t think anything of it, but we bought beautiful furniture, and I would like a bed set that would complete the room.

Can anyone recommend a store/website that carries bedding for special sized mattresses?

I can never find a bedspread that is over 106 X 106 comforters are too short. I don’t need bed in a bag just a nice Autumn color bedspread that will fit my bed. it has wood on side and back so a bed skirt never shows so I don’t want one.

Hi All! I’m looking to repaint my bedroom… when I painted it for years ago I had a look in mind but it turned out to be rather blah and I feel like I’m in a cold jail cell! I have gray carpets and painted the walls a color that was called Silverscreen, which is a silvery grayish lavendar but most of the times looks simply gray and like I said, blah! when i’m gone to work during the day my dogs are outside in the yard. they have a giant shed that is pretty much all theirs. i have dog beds and comforters for them to snuggle up in and it’s quite cozy. the problem? they shred everything after a day or two. as much as i would love to be able to buy them new beds every two days, it’s just not in the ole budget. i don’t want to spray bitter apple or anything like that on the beds if it’s gonna make them not want to lay on them anymore and it probably wouldn’t deter them from shredding them anyway. and i give them each one or two rawhides every day so it’s not for lack of chew stuff. when they come inside they don’t shred our furniture or blankets so what gives?
