I recently purchased a bedding set at Home Goods that is the Hotel Balfour brand. I would like matching curtains but Home Goods does not carry curtains here. I have scoured the internet looking for anywhere else that might sell the Hotel Balfour brand but I cannot find a thing. Is anyone out there aware of this brand and where it’s normally sold?

All the furniture in my bedroom is black and I’m so bored with it. I want to paint them, but I don’t know what colors to do. I don’t want to do them all the same color, but I don’t want my room to look like a rainbow either. I have a desk, a nightstand, and two bookcases.

The walls are green – it’s sort of a bright light green, lighter than normal green but not pale. My bedspread and curtains are the same aqua blue color, and I don’t want to change them.

What colors should I do?

I am totally redoing my room from the walls to the rug, new curtains, new bed and mattress, new bedding, everything.

I’ve been looking all over the net and have taken a liking to the following comforter/bedding set from Kohls. I want the comforter/bed setup as pictured, but I don’t think it’s available…

I don’t know when I will have a chance to check out Kohls in person. Am I right that it seems like I can’t order the actual comforter? It does say "comforter set" which is a good sign, but the picture is not like the main one. Hopefully that’s just the picture though, but I would want to confirm that before putting out the money…

Suggestion about where else to look for bedding? I’ve checked out Macy’s, JCPenneys, Sears, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Linens & Things.

I talking about colours that will compliment and accentuate my wall colour right now. Which is a light lilac or pale purple.

But my bedspread is the same colour, so are my curtains, etc. So nothing stand outs and it looks boring. Would blue look weird? Any other suggestions?

I need help choosing a good colour for my bedroom drapes.
My room looks like this:
Wall are creamy yellow beige, but more on the yellow side.
Chests are pure white, from IKEA.

Want to buy a bed-in-bag that is yellow, pink cream, and white.
Do not know what to do for the curtain colours…

OR

Given the white chest of drawers and the yellowy-beige walls, what colour should I try toi find for the bed-in-bag and the curtains??

tacky? I Have 2 real curtains hanging, one on each side of the sheet. My window has no blinds, so you can see the curtains from the outside.
Also, are the colors a bad combo? Brown curtain on each side of a pastel forrest green curtain.
It probably is, but it’s all I’ve got, and I’m too cheap & poor to buy more.

My walls are green, kind of like sage but a little brighter. My blinds and my wardrobe are dark wood. My curtains are sheer white. I’m going for a retreat-style or zen-like feel. I’m thirteen so i have to keep it somewhat young.
Also: I have a whole bulletin board to work with…what should i do with that?

They are here, and they are driving me crazy!!!!
We did everything we thought we were supposed to do:
* We paid for a pest control company to come and take care of it.
* We didn’t change the mattress but we bought from the pest control company this special covers to keep whatever is inside in, and whatever is outside out.
* We did the same with spring box
* We took EVERY SINGLE cloth from the house (from clothes, beddings, towels, rugs, curtains…) to a laundromat, and washed all on hot, and trowed all bags used to transport clothes on the garbage (and brought back home on brand new ones).
* We slept on air mattress on living room for a week after decontamination by company
* We did not bring any cloth upstairs (part contaminated).
* We ONLY went upstairs for one week 2 x a day to vacuum
So yesterday, for first night, 9 days after pest control came, we decided to try and sleep upstairs…
Woke up all bitten. Blood marks on sheets, and so far have seem 6 of them walking around. HELP!
We are moving to a new house on June 20th. I tried but there is anyway we can move before. So I have 2 worries:
- get free of them on this house
- Make sure they are really gone so we don’t take them to new house (I am really considering trowing away my 3 quite NEW dressers and bed, and get all new when I move to next house – even though they cost me a fortune… I just am desperate and don’t know what to do )
