I know a lot of people ask this, but I have recently acquired a queen sized headboard/foot board/bed frame. I currently have a full sized mattress and boxspring, and I will NOT be buying a new queen mattress set. So please don’t leave that as your answer. I want tips on how to make it work.

Thanks so much,
Lilly

I am having trouble. I lost all of the screws to my bedroom set when moving. I have a mirror that attaches to my dresser also foot board, head board and legs. The frame is metal and I know it was may from ashley furniture they won’t sell me just the screws. Where can I purchase some from I don’t even know the measurements. So far have tried Menard and Ace Hardware no help. I want to put my bedroom set togehter by this weekend.

We bought an antique headboard and foot board yesterday, but were unable to move it upstairs to our condo so it’s still in the garage. Our building’s elevator is out of order for a couple of days, and the stairs are steep and exterior. We left it in the garage, and I’m concerned about the humidity causing damage. It’s raining right now, so there is more moisture in the air. The garage is not totally enclosed. It’s under the building, and there’s an opening to it at one end. The bed is totally covered, though.

We’re hoping to bring it up tomorrow when the elevator is working again. Will the mattress and bed be damaged by being in the garage for 2 nights?

Queen size mattress dilemma!!!?

My boyfriend and I are moving in at the end of the week. We bought a bedroom set that includes a queen size bed with foot board, head board and rails. We got a memory foam mattress that is 75.0 x 39.0 x 8.0, we are wondering do you have to buy a box spring to put under the the memory foam or does the bed support it already.

Here is the description of the bed:

•Solid wood and wood veneer construction. Tops, fronts, rails, and structural components are solid pine
•Queen beds come with three slats and center supports

Here is a picture of the bed:

Where to get a Queen Bed Frame..?

When I got my new bedroom set I gave away my old queen metal bed frame..

anyway, my fiance was messing around on the bed and he fell into the foot board and it broke… so then the bed like fell. so we took the head board off too.. and now its the box-spring and mattress on the floor..

where can I get a new queen bed frame.. ? Cheapest you know of. I am on a tight budget right now.

its a white countryish bed with white boards inbetween the foot board and the head board. Would a skirt look okay?

I’m buying a Eastern King size Tempur-Pedic mattress and box spring plus a head board, foot board and side boards. The thing is this, I am a man and want to have an obvious man bed (the colors are black and gray) and the frame is metal and black. The thing is I plan on covering up my mattress of course with a fitted sheet. NOW WHAT DO I DO SO THE BOX SPRING DOES NOT SHOW? some people have told me to throw another fitted sheet around it, also telling me a bed skirt is too "fem"… yet others say the bed skirt is the way to go, and having the box spring in a fitted sheet will make it look like i have 2 mattresses and like a layer cake.
any thoughts people?

How can I disguise my bed risers?

We’ve had bed risers on our bed for a few years, and we love the extra storage. However, we just got a new bed that has a foot board. It changes the way the bed skirt hangs, and now the risers show. I’ve looked for cherry risers to match the wood of the bed, but they’re not as tall as the risers we have now. What is a tasteful way to hide the risers so we can keep them?
Well, now that we have a footboard, the bed skirt is down behind the footboard instead of in front of the legs of the bed. That’s why the risers show now.

I’m about to move into a tiny apartent with two other people. Unfortunately money is tight, and one of us will be using the large front room for a bed room. We have a metal frame and twin matress, but it has no head board or foot board. Being that it is in the front room we want to make it into an attractive day bed. Any idea is a good idea at this point. Please help!!!!
