We just got a new bedroom set and bedding but don’t know what color to paint the walls. The furniture is a distressed black and the bedding is chocolate brown and cream. floor is neutral carpet. any suggestions? We had always thought we were going to paint the room a warm, dark color but with all of the dark furniture, I think it may be too much.

I have brown colored furniture in my bedroom and am looking for a nice sheet set/comforter for my room. The walls are white but I am wanting to change that at some point, just not sure what color yet, but that’s in the future. I am having trouble finding sheets and was hoping someone might have some examples they’ve seen online. I want sheets that are manly, but not too bachelor pady… Any ideas?? well I’m moving into a new apartment, the dimensions are 1′x1′ anyone know where I could find furniture big enough for a 23 year old but small enough to fit on my apartment? it’s kind of a tight squeeze, but I’ll manage, I need a bed, a couple tables, a couch and a TV…I already tried Rooms R Us, but they said that they wouldn’t be ready in time for Armageddon(no not the actual end of the world, the movie!)…so I need a quick fix, the apartment’s in Nigeria(if that helps)

I have a wood bed, bedside table, and dresser that are black. I want to paint them a lighter color to brighten up my bedroom. For wall color, I’m thinking about maybe a light yellow. What color do you think would look nice for the furniture with yellow walls? Do you think it could possibly look bad if the furniture was just a solid, painted color with no wood grain showing through?

The Original Owner painted the Set twice. The Head and Footboard have damage on the wicker. I wanted to strip the paint but do not want to hurt the Furniture.

I will do my best to explain my room. It’s a rectangle shape. One wall is a huge window. Then I have a long wall. To the right of that is a short wall. The fourth wall has my closet and bathroom. As for furniture, I have a queen size bed, dresser, chest of drawers, and a nightstand. Currently I have everything but the dresser on the longest wall. It looks like a wall of furntiture!
