We have a Thomasville bedroom set and the furniture is a light greenish color with natural tops – what color would you paint the walls?
What kind of Bed should i get?
What color furniture?
What other things should i get for my bedroom?
The Original Owner painted the Set twice. The Head and Footboard have damage on the wicker. I wanted to strip the paint but do not want to hurt the Furniture.
Fullsize Bed,Chiffon Robe,Desk (Marble Top) and matching Mirror.
i looked at a website that says ’5 piece bedroom set’ but only 4 pieces of furniture are shown.
I will do my best to explain my room. It’s a rectangle shape. One wall is a huge window. Then I have a long wall. To the right of that is a short wall. The fourth wall has my closet and bathroom. As for furniture, I have a queen size bed, dresser, chest of drawers, and a nightstand. Currently I have everything but the dresser on the longest wall. It looks like a wall of furntiture! Any ideas?
I like the lodge look and have some extra log siding on hand. I need to know if anyone has an idea how to make a bed or other furniture and use the log siding to give it the rustic look. We already made a storage box using plywood, covering it with log siding and made a cushioned lid/seat for it and that worked. Gave me inspiration to do other projects but I am drawing a blank at the moment. Thanks!!!
I just moved into a new apartment about 2 months ago and have found bed bugs in there. I haven’t been in any hotels, or have had many people over, and my furniture is new so I know the bugs came from the apartment. Is it the apartments responsibly to get rid of them? I learned I am allergenic to the saliva of the bugs and break out in hives, so I cannot even stay there while the bugs are there, would they also need to take $$ off my monthly rent or put me in a hotel. Thanks.
I’ve had my mattress and other furniture in storage for about 2 years now. Now that I’m ready to get it out, all of my furniture has gathered a lot of dirt and dust and other nasty stuff from being in there for so long. What is the best solution for cleaning these kinds of materials? I saw that shark steam mop, would that work?
I am designing my bedroom and I have a upholstered headboard that I LOVE, and it is pure WHITE, as is the duvet cover. However, the furniture I received for the room is not pure white, it is a soft white/off white. Will this work or not? Can I get away with it since the headboard is not wood like the dresser & chest?
I have thrown out all my furniture, moved, hired and exterminator; yet, I still have bedbugs. Almost every product one can try I have use them for these pest. Yet, all of this has been in vain.
What can I do to get rid of bedbugs? I cannot afford to get rid of my stuff or hire another exterminator. PLEASE HELP ME! Somebody! Anybody!
All the furniture in my bedroom is black and I’m so bored with it. I want to paint them, but I don’t know what colors to do. I don’t want to do them all the same color, but I don’t want my room to look like a rainbow either. I have a desk, a nightstand, and two bookcases.
The walls are green – it’s sort of a bright light green, lighter than normal green but not pale. My bedspread and curtains are the same aqua blue color, and I don’t want to change them.
What colors should I do?
My bedroom has tan walls w/ one chocolate brown accent wall. The bed extends out from accent wall. The accent wall & the bed are the first things you see when entering the room. I don’t know whether to go w/ chocolate, espresso, or black furniture. I’m afraid the chocolate furniture will blend into the accent wall too much, and black furniture just won’t look right. The room accent is blue. I really need advice as to what will look modern and am open to suggestions
I painted my room a deep purple and have gray furniture. I need a good duvet cover that’ll match. I really want to find one that is white with some sort of purple design (flowers?). But i’ve looked at ikea, bed bath and beyond, macys, jcpennys & Sears and none of them had a good selection. Are there any other good stores. thanks.
My roommate is moving out in a couple of days, and she wants to buy the twin-size mattress and boxspring in her room (it’s mine; I bought the furniture for a cheap price from the last person who lived in the apartment). It’s used but in good condition, obviously she’s been using it for the past 3 months, and she likes it and wants to buy it. But I have no idea what to charge for it – any ideas?
My son has poison sumac. I have washed all his linenes, towels, clothes reguarly. I am concerned that the oils may be on our sofa. How do you clean these oils out of the fabric on furniture?
