He’s a miniture Dachshund and he’s never been afraid of thunder before, but today it was raining pretty hard and my dog is parinoid. When he got in my bed he crawled under the covers and would pace up and down the bed all morning. Now he won’t let me out of his sight. How do I calm my dog down? What are some home remedies?

I just received my duvet cover in the mail, and the fabric is linen-cotton. It’s a little too stiff for my taste, and I want to make it softer. Are there any at home remedies out there that will do the trick? Fabric softener, vinegar, washing it a few times? Any kind of help will work. If there isn’t a way to make it softer, I can simply return it. Thanks!

It’s winter, and it’s cold. I have a little puggle (20 lbs) and we keep her in front of a space heater and with blankets and sweaters. This afternoon though, she doesn’t seems to stop shaking.
At first it was violent shakes every time she inhaled. Now it is just quiet shaking. She may have a fever.
Any home remedies? Not ready to take her to the vet just yet.

It’s not one of those cheap camper air beds, it’s one of those full size air beds from Walmart. It has a hole in it about the size of a small finger nail puncture. Those dingy tape patches that came with the air bed are just not working. The air keeps shooting out. Any home remedies would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have white sheets at home and I can never get them white again. I know it’s not staining from the bleach I use because the fitted sheet is stained and the pillow cases are stained while the “loose” sheet is not. I’d like to try some home remedies before I go out and buy some more chemicals. As well, I can’t hang my sheets to dry in the sun because we don’t have a fence to hang a clothes line on and we don’t have anything for the sheets to hang off of outside.
Just a note — I wash the whole set together, the two sheets and two pillowcases. So that’s how I know it’s not the bleach.

My feet itch really badly all over (from the bottoms of my feet, the ankle and top of the feet, but not between the toes)whenever i take my work boots or shoes off and when i lie down for bed. Its not athletes foot, as none of those medicines seem to work. Does anyone know any home remedies to stop the itching since i cant make it to a doctor for another week. Or a diagnosis or anything?!?!
