so, i wash my sheets and blankets regularly, but share a king size bed with my boyfriend and two cats in a smaller sized apartment. they dont shed a TON but it i notice that my sheets seem to get kind of.. dirty. so like i said i wash them regularly but would love to be able to spray them with something daily as to keep them smelling/feeling fresh in between washes. i DON’T feel comfortable using Lysol or fabreeze everyday (i do, but only occasionally when needed) so my question is… do you know of anything NATURAL or safe to use around animals (completely non toxic) that would leave me sheets smelling a bit fresher? i’ve tried lavender oil but my boyfriend hates the smell… lol… sooo any ideas besides lavender oil, lysol, or febreeze? Also, i always choose a best answer thanks people!

But I want a partner – m mates are good but I need some closeness (+sex)! I have only ever had 3 one night stands and one disastrous attempt at a relationship for 2 months. I was thinking of asking a girl out from the local shop but I found out she was engaged from the guy working there. Then last Saturday I went to buy a new bed and this girl – (woman) said to me ‘do you have to bring your girlfriend in to check it with you? I said no and she was like ‘are you single? Me too! I get lost in a King size bed like this – I have one with silk sheets – I need a man to appreciate it with.’ I thought she may want me to ask her out? We were at the counter as I was paying and her colleague said ‘Where are you going then?’ She just said ‘Cheezies’. I asked what and apparently it is her 20th birthday – I thought she was like a few years younger but atleast 26-27! She said she thought I was 28 – I just said — close! I was thinking how gorgeous she was and how I would love her to be my girlfriend! I feel I must be a dirty old man now??!! Will she think I am?!!

want to update quilt covers, sheets, curtains (i was thinking wooden vanicians that go with my tallboy and bedside table?). anything! except i cant change my bedside table or anything cos it’s new.

my style is kinda preppy. i want my room to look cosy, warm, inviting and sophisticated.

Our master bedroom is in the attic. The main problem I’m having is that it has a 4 ft knee wall on one side of the room and a 2 ft knee wall on the other side, so it’s not exactly symmetrical. Also, it is long with a window on each end wall and no other windows. The lighting isn’t bad, but there aren’t any dormers to add space. Right now, we have a king size bed that we plan to get a simple platform for. I also have sage green bed sheets, a solid white comforter, a dark purple throw at the foot of the bed, and dark purple curtains. My biggest concern is what paint colors to use and how. I really love the "hotel chic" style; minimalist with clean lines but still high style. PLEASE HELP!!

I’ve never been able to sleep well with someone in bed with me. This is causing a strain with my current girlfriend, and I am exhausted from lack of sleep. I have a king size bed. I like to sleep with the bedroom COLD (60 degrees or less). I think the biggest problem is that when I sleep on my side facing the center of the mattress, I can’t pull the sheets and comforter between my arms and legs (like a body pillow). This is because the sheets are wrapped around my girlfriend, so I do not want to yank them off of her. Also, this is a problem I’ve always had, not only with this girlfriend, but also with past girlfriends…

I have been using sateen sheets for my king size bed. I always use the fitted sheets, but they always come out of place, and are wrinkly and uncomfortable. Two sets of sheets have done that. I used cotton polyester mix sheets and they fit perfectly. I do have a mattress cover. What am I doing wrong with the sateen sheets?
