I change my sheets and pillowcases every Tuesday and Saturday.
I wash my pillows and bedspread every few weeks, but it probably wouldn’t hurt if I did that more often. I just have one set of those things, and I have to take them to the laundromat.

I have a white eyelet comforter and it’s beginning to getting dirty. It’s starting to really show up in the center. Should i use something like Rit White-Wash or Rit Whitener & Brightener. I don’t want to use anything too harsh but it’ll probably take something kind-of strong. Thanks for answering!
I’m planning on taking it to a laundromat anyways.

I have a down comforter that needs to be cleaned but I live too far away from the nearest town to take it to the dry cleaners. Can I wash and dry it at the local laundromat without ruining it?
And if so, what kind of detergent should I use?

I know that sounds weird, but I have a gigantic denim comforter that I need cleaned. My washer is too small, the local laundromat is closed for renovation, and we don’t have a dry cleaner in town. However, it does fit into the dryer… so is there an alternative to cleaning it in the washer?

I have 4 cats and 2 dogs and need to wash my comforter frequently, but in general how often should you wash your comforter?
How can you clean it without ruining it in the washer? Even "super-sized" washers at the laundromat have ruined comforters for me….
My washing machine is not large enough to contain the whole comforter. When washed in the super-sized washing machines at the laundromat, it fits fine. Even though it fits and when washed in cold water and air dried – my comforters still get disfigured (stuffing in one section and empty in another). I am trying to prevent this

We have a full size down-alternative feather bed and down alternative comforter that need to be washed. Can we take them to the laundromat and put them in a standard wash over-sized washer, or do we need to have them dry cleaned? Neither of the tags have washing instructions. Thanks!
