We were trying to go with the dark brown/silver sage look, but the bedding & curtains were much darker in normal lighting versus store lighting. Now I need something to brighten up the room, make it pop, add some drama, give it some style! Here’s the 4-1-1, curtains, comforter, shams, and dust ruffle are the dark steel/grey blue, throw pillows are chocolate brown, and walls are chocolate brown. Help, I need color, pattern,design advice. without changing all the linens!
The carpet is your typical creamy beige.

You think no one deserves a 0 lunch, right? Do you know how many people that meal really feeds? The waitress (who gets a tip), the bus boy, the chef, the valet, the guy in the restroom who hands him a towel, the service that cleans their linens, the furniture company where they buy their chairs and tables, the appliance company where they buy their stoves and ovens, the clothing store where the staff buys their work clothes, the farmer that grows the vegetables and raises the animals for the meal, the people who deliver food to the restaurant, the people who make the truck that delivers the food, the garage that services the truck, the gas station where the truck fuels up, etc.

When you allow the government to steal money from anyone, it hurts everyone. No government program can help the working poor. It can only become a middle-man who steals a large chunk of the cash for himself before giving a fraction to the poor.

I am totally redoing my room from the walls to the rug, new curtains, new bed and mattress, new bedding, everything.

I’ve been looking all over the net and have taken a liking to the following comforter/bedding set from Kohls. I want the comforter/bed setup as pictured, but I don’t think it’s available…

I don’t know when I will have a chance to check out Kohls in person. Am I right that it seems like I can’t order the actual comforter? It does say "comforter set" which is a good sign, but the picture is not like the main one. Hopefully that’s just the picture though, but I would want to confirm that before putting out the money…

Suggestion about where else to look for bedding? I’ve checked out Macy’s, JCPenneys, Sears, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Linens & Things.

If you don’t want a planner, then at least contact a event design company. You need to book your venue first. After that, the designer will come out and be able to give you suggestions for lighting, linens and decor.

Okay, my husband and i have a linen rental buisness and share a shop with his parents. (his parents do flowers) so point is…our rent for the shop is 2400 a month. We only charge them 300 and they cant even pay that! IM TIRED OF PAYING THEIR BILLS! my husband says "we are helping them out…they dont have money" meanwhile im not able to get the luxuries i want because of them spending money on stuff they shoudlnt?! NO…its gone on this way for 4 months now. (we pay for his car, his phone everything!)and as far as the bills for the shop we are suppose to split them.like the dwp, the phone bill ect…but we do. and we put it on a big peice of paper of what he owes us for…the only thing is WE WILL NEVER get paid for it. Im getting bitchy…Oh AND…even tho they still owe us so much money when they do favors for us such as pick up linens from a hotel we pay them. ! WTF…
heres the thing…we are READY to have children the only thing thats stopping us..is they are taking all our money! how can we afford a kid when we are taking care of (5 extra people sisters included)

Okay I am going away for a weekend (next week- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and I need my little dog to stay at a hotel, like a dog hotel.

I have had several garage sales this year and have a lot of nice upholstered furniture, bedding, and linens from my parent’s estate to sell. However, nobody even looks at them. Even auctioneers say thy won’t take upholstered furniture. Why is this?

I mean if your going to steal a body, you wouldnt take the time to unwrap it, you would just take the whole thing. You would even prefer to keep the linens on, so you wouldnt have to touch, a three day old corpse.

The chairs at the reception hall are decent. there wooden with goldish cushioning. But i was looking through linen rental websites and the covering for the chairs were so pretty. I have 210 guest, and its about per chair and for the bow. Also, do they come and put the linens on for you? and do they pick them up or do you have to drop them off.
