My one roommate definitely has evidence of bed bugs in his room and has since gotten rid of his mattress and box spring. My question is how easily can the move to other rooms of the house? And if I have not noticed any evidence of them in my room, is there chances that they are still there? The rooms are about 20 feet apart separated by a large open area with clothes closets in between.

my baby has slept in my bed and his bassinet since he was born but he’s gotten too big and i just bought him his crib and mattress but every time i place him in his crib he starts crying and stands up. he never stays down or lays down. he will not even play in there during the day and when i lay him down after he’s fallen asleep he wakes up instantly and cries hard.

I just noticed one bug in my bed i ran out and bought all these kinds of bed bug sprays and sprayed my mattress. When i did i noticed little black stains that smeared when i touched them. Is that bed bugs? If so, can i beat them on my own? What can i do? How long will it take to get rid of them? Please help. I dont have alot of money to get an exterminator.

I’ve had bed bugs for a while in my room (just realized what they are), so I got rid of my mattress & bed frame and sprayed my room, carpet & everything with the proper spray. But they’re still there. Is there any way to fumigate my room? Any product I can use?

An exterminator will come 2morrow, but it’s costly. I just wanna know what I can do to get rid of them if I find them in other rooms my apartment.

My parents have the tempurpedic in their guest room and although it is comfortable, I get so hot on it that I sweat terribly at night. Coincidentally, my parents experienced the same thing which is why this expensive mattress is now in their guest room!

The twin sheets that I have are for deep mattresses, but I will need them to fit a twin xl mattress. I’m also wondering if those elastic sheet grippers that I have seen in stores will remedy any potential problems.

I have one of those thick "silent night" mattresses, and although the sheets I buy are more than suffient enough to cover the mattress (and for the corners to fit under it) I still find that every time I get onto the bed the corners come off at the top – I wake with a sheet half on the bed and it’s driving me mad.

Is there any product – in the UK – that keeps the sheet on the bed??? I tried looking but couldn’t find anything…
As far as I’ve seen they don’t sell these sheet gripper things in the UK, thats why I asked, I checked out every store that sold sheets and bedding and not one member of staff even knew remotely what I was asking for.

we lucked out with our first set of sheets we bought that fit our bed perfectly and threw the package out. when we went to buy another set it didn’t fit and have gone through a few now. our favorite sheets now have a rip and need to replace it. i can’t seem to figure out what size of deep pockets we need, i have taken a ruler or measuring tape to see the depth of my mattress. is this how you do it? it says it’s 12 inches….i can’t find anything in paperwork on the mattress that says how deep it is. should i go bigger like maybe a 14?

I have an old fashioned water bed. It’s from the 70′s. I love it. My only problem is that sheets never stay on it. I usually tuck the sheets in the side of the bed. But, that doesn’t work. I wake up with the sheets all messed up and basically laying directly on the bed. (I don’t like calling it a mattress because its more of a bubble.) Anyways, can anyone help me?

For you guys who don’t know, fitted sheets are the ones with the elastic, that go directly onto the mattress.
My wife can fold these things so that they look like flat sheets, and they stack nice and neat in the cabinet. When I try, no matter how careful I am, they always look like I just wadded it up in a ball.
Is it in a woman’s genes to be able to do this? Has it something to do with estrogen levels?
