I’m in a dispute with a mattress company and want to sue them in small claims court for fraud of warranty. Where can I find an expert witness or someone really knowledgeable about mattresses to look at it and give an opinion?

i need to buy a new mattress within mid range (can go up to 500 – 0) but all mattresses look and feel the same to me. I was wondering if anyone has any insight on best brands and types of mattresses to buy (quality and value)?

We have two cribs from twins 2 1/2 years old that are in good condition with mattresses. One was a walmart crib and the other a babies or us bed. We spend 5 on the babies or us one and 0 on the walmart one. Whats a reasonable price if they come get them ?

You know the little plastic tags on the corner of mattresses, the contents of which I’ve never bothered to read, well, why is it against the law to cut those off? I mean, isn’t it private property? And why do they care anyway?

The twin sheets that I have are for deep mattresses, but I will need them to fit a twin xl mattress. I’m also wondering if those elastic sheet grippers that I have seen in stores will remedy any potential problems.
Here is the link to the product (for reference):

Please only answer if you have ACTUAL EXPERIENCE with this situation as I already know the differences in dimensions of twin vs. twin xl sheets, but would like to hear from anyone that has personally attempted to fit a twin sheet onto a twin xl mattress.

there seems to be only a difference between the price of full and queen mattresses. There maybe some conspiracy between the mattress makers and linen sellers. . .

I can’t find a retail store that carries sleeper sofa mattresses to save my life. I’ve found several places online that sell them… but if I don’t like them I’m stuck. No one lets you return them. I’ve done my research and I think I want to go with either a memory foam sofa bed mattress or latex sofa bed mattress. Does anybody have any suggestions as to where I should go?

I have one of those thick "silent night" mattresses, and although the sheets I buy are more than suffient enough to cover the mattress (and for the corners to fit under it) I still find that every time I get onto the bed the corners come off at the top – I wake with a sheet half on the bed and it’s driving me mad.
Is there any product – in the UK – that keeps the sheet on the bed??? I tried looking but couldn’t find anything…
As far as I’ve seen they don’t sell these sheet gripper things in the UK, thats why I asked, I checked out every store that sold sheets and bedding and not one member of staff even knew remotely what I was asking for.

I read an ad in the paper offering steam cleaning of mattresses to rid of dust mites. I have NEVER heard of such a thing. I was wondering in anyone has done this and is it really beneficial?

I’m in need of a new mattress, and I’m considering one from The Original Mattresss Factory. I’m also looking at a Simmon’s Beautyrest mattress which is on sale right now. Both are priced the about the same; the Original Mattress Factory one is .00 less. I’m just wondering, if the Original Mattress Factory mattresses are long-lasting, high-quality. Thanks so much for your help.

I will soon be moving to another state and I’m looking for alternate methods of moving my mattresses and one antique dresser. Does anyone have any ideas from previous experience? I’ll be moving within the next two months and I’m not looking to pay a lot of money. I’ll only be shipping these items and buying new furniture when I get to my new location. Thank you.

When I went to find new sheets for my perfectly good 9 inch high (thickness) mattress, I discovered the fitted sheets are all designed for newer 13-16 inch mattresses. Result: the fitted sheets are very loose and hardly worthy of the name. Who sells fitted sheets with a good fiber count (300+) for traditional mattresses without the pillow tops and other gimmicks?

Also can these problems be fixed after getting a new mattress? And is there anything I can do about it in the meantime, while I search for mattresses?

I’ve been looking at beds, and they can come with different kinds of mattresses, sprung, protector, and comfort, going from cheapest to most expensive. What’s the difference between them all, which one is better, and what do they do? Thanks in advance!
