I am looking for a memory foam mattress (at least 6") that can be rolled or folded and stored away. I am looking at walmart’s spa sensations 6" mattress. anybody out there have one of these?

My 2.5 inch memory foam mattress topper came with a cover. I like using the topper without the cover because it feels more comfortable and the sheets don’t get as wrinkled. Do I need to use the cover that came with the topper or can I just place it under the sheets?

Hey, do you guys think it would be fine to try carrying a 1.5 inch, 75-34, memory foam mattress folded up in a suitcase to take as checked baggage on a plane? Do you think that doing that would mess up the mattress? I suppose that between getting to the airport, taking the flight and then finally arriving and settling in my new home would be about 15-16 hours. Should I really not consider this or would it be a good way to save?

I am looking at buying a memory foam mattress. Tempurpedic is very expensive, anyone tried selectabed Tri-pedic or soft-pedic? Any comments? Any complaints? How good is it, how reliable compared to tempurpedic.

My mattress is terrible. Its too hard, and the springs are loud and creaky and annoying. I would love a memory foam mattress (Which I might be able to convince my mom to buy me for christmas) or a giant bean bag bed. THEY MAKE THEM! But I need to figure out the price. The beanbag would be about 0. How much would a memory foam mattress cost?

Hi,
We had a party at my house tonight and somebody spilled beer on my new king sized memory foam mattress topper. I did not catch it in time to clean it before it soaked in. How can I clean it so it won’t grow mold? I was told you can’t steam clean foam and washing it will ruin the mattress. Any help is appreciated!

We bought a memory foam mattress and box springs about 6 months ago. The box springs keep breaking, the boards just snap. It’s been replaced 5 times, and upgraded the box springs so I can’t blame it on the mfg ! I have asked if we need some kind of special bedframe, ours is just metal with a cross bar, and was told it should be fine. Please help! This is getting embarassing!

Just picked up a 2" memory foam mattress pad to make the sofa bed more comfortable for a guest. It’s been an hour and it looks almost the same as it did out of the box – sorta pruny and way too small in every direction.
Anyone know if it will be "puffed out" and useable about 5 hours from now? (it also smells a little weird)

I have a memory foam mattress topper that was vacuum packed in its original box, and when I took it out originally, it expanded to many, many times its original vacuum packed size.

I live far away and need to ship it to myself now, but now that it’s not vacuum packed and shrunk, I can’t get it much smaller than the largest of my suitcases. Is there any place that I can go to get it industrially shrink wrapped or vacuum packed (preferably in the DFW area) so that I can get it down to at least a fraction of its original size?

The home vacuum sealers won’t do the trick; this mattress pad is much too strong and large for what they are intended to do. I’ve tried and nothing works, I’m thinking only an industrial stength vacuum packer will work.

I have a visco elastic memory foam mattress pad. I quit smoking, but I used to smoke in my home, so it still smells like smoke. How do I clean this? Will it damage it to put it in the washing machine?? Thanks!
