My bed has a foam thing on top of it under the sheets. Its about an inch thick and it makes my sheets snap up at the corners. Without spending any money how can i fix that problem? I cant sleep without that foam thing.

I really want my room to feel tropical. My walls are orange not to bright not to soft. My bedspread is white with a few big colors stretched across the middle. I don’t know how to make it feel more tropical for not a lot of money. An ideas?

I bought my comforter a few months ago and I’ve constantly been washing it every week or so before I found out what flat sheets were for. Now, it looks really old and worn out because of all the excessive washing. How can I make it look like new without going to the dry-cleaners or spending any (or very little) of my own money?

I’ve heard that on average the 5 star sheets will cost 00-00 and I am more than willing to pay that price.
I want to find a website to a store that sells the Egyptian Cotton Sheets for the expensive price.
I DON’T want recommendations to Amazon.com or to a "Cheaper" website, I have the money to buy the product that I want, I just can’t find a store website that sells them to that expense.

The twin sheets that I have are for deep mattresses, but I will need them to fit a twin xl mattress. I’m also wondering if those elastic sheet grippers that I have seen in stores will remedy any potential problems.
Here is the link to the product (for reference):

Please only answer if you have ACTUAL EXPERIENCE with this situation as I already know the differences in dimensions of twin vs. twin xl sheets, but would like to hear from anyone that has personally attempted to fit a twin sheet onto a twin xl mattress.

I am reading the book Green Chic. The author talks about a number of chemicals used to treat sheets prior to packaging. She recommends using organic sheets only. She swears you can’t wash the chemicals out of the sheets.
I hate being sold fear. And I don’t have the money to go change all my sheets over to organic (or listen to most of the advice she gives).
Do you think organic cotton is safer? Is there a way to wash traditional cotton sheets to get the chemicals out?

I need some purple sheets for NOT a lot of money. I’m thinking of satin (or, whatever, fake satin), but it’s very hard to find it in purple. Are there any other really Comfy and nice types of sheets you would recommend? Websites or stores would be very helpful! Thank you

No matter how hard I look, I can’t seem to find any FREE sheet music for Chopin’s Nocturne in A-Flat major, opus 32, no 2. Could anyone provide a link? I’d rather find a free solution before I spend money online.

I will soon be moving to another state and I’m looking for alternate methods of moving my mattresses and one antique dresser. Does anyone have any ideas from previous experience? I’ll be moving within the next two months and I’m not looking to pay a lot of money. I’ll only be shipping these items and buying new furniture when I get to my new location. Thank you.

The pull out bed in my couch isn’t very comfortable. Would a foam mattress topper help? Or should I not waste the money?

My daughter got a twin size bed a few months back shes going to be 3 in march and shes potty trained during the day and even at nap time but night time is a different world lol. When i do start putting her in her undies for night time and stop giving her all that water before bed and such i know i need a mattress pad for her new bed but i dont have one, can i use the mattress pad from her toddler bed to prevent accidents from leaking to the mattress or is it not built the same way as a twin bed mattress pad would be built? Just wondering, i was hopeing i could save some money on buying one until after the holidays.
Has anyone tried it?
Thanks in advance.
i mean thanks for the advice

I bought a new mattress from a dealer in my small town. When I asked about returns, he said it would be no problem, but be sure to use a mattress pad.
I cut off one of the tags because it was overlapping the up side of the mattress! The tag I cut off was the one that identified the mattress as a Simmons. I did not remove any of the other tags…
I think the owner of the store is a fair man, so I do not want to ask him to lose money -it was my fault to choose this mattress.
However, this mattress is as hard as a rock, it does not give. All last night I felt as if I were being offered up to the gods on an alter!
Common sense tells me to just tell him what I said above, but my concern is that I cut off the tag. How should I deal with this?
I’ve heard that if a mattress is this hard, that it will not soften much with time, so I am wondering if a mattress topper will provide enough comfort, if at all…
I do plan to ask for another mattress, but what do you think about the tag part of my dilema?
