Because of this the company is offering a partial refund because they no longer have extra screws in stock. How much would be a fair refunded amount?

The sofa bed is attached and usable. The only thing is it pulls apart when you go to move it.

My girlfriend works for Laura Ashley and has today been told she must go home because she is not in correct uniform. The manager has decided that female staff if wearing a skirt must wear and pencil skirt.

I wondered if they can add rules to specific types of clothing. The contract of employment just states dress has to be smart with no mention to specifics such as pencil skirts.

Is it possible for the manager to add such rules without changes being made to the wording of the contract?
