Also I have some real down throw pillows with covers that dont come off of them so I cant just unzip them and throw the covers into the washing machine. Can I put down pillows in the washing machine? Thanks !
It burns like hell and is swollen. I called my husband and he came into the bedroom. I didn’t have my glasses on but had thought that I had squashed it between the comforter and the sheet. My husband was trying to find it and got bit on the finger. Now neither one of us can find it. I know it was brown, thats really all that I could see. I stripped the bed and threw the comforter outside, then put the sheets in the washing machine. My sheets are satin lepeard print, which really didn’t help in or search.
Does anyone know how to treat a spider bite? Mine looks like there may be two punctures and is red and swollen?
Hi We have recently invested in organic mattresses for our two babies as we believe that the chemicals in normal mattresses maybe harmful to our babies. However, do we now need to buy organic cotton sheets or would the chemicals and pesticides in these sheets be washed out in a normal washing machine?

I have a very old quilt with cotton-like (don’t know for sure) exterior and polyester filling that is in desperate need of cleaning. It is very delicate, as it is over 20 years old and has great sentimental value. I don’t know if putting it in the washing machine would be too harsh and ruin it. I also don’t know if getting it wet (even just washing it by hand) would cause the polyfill to clump and make it no longer quilt-like. Would dry cleaning work?
I have a large sofa bed with removable cotton covers. Can I dye them at home or is a domestic washing machine too small? I read that if your machine is too small the dye will be patchy. Obviously I’d do the bits that cover the cushions/seats separately but that would still leave me with the huge bit that covers the whole body of the sofa.
It is currently white but as I bought it second hand it’s got a few marks on it that won’t come out.
Could i put a pillow in the washing machine?!????!
I’ve read that the more you wash them the softer they get. Should I put them through the washing machine a few times?
…or the washing machine? They have various fillings, like feathers and one is a memory foam pillow.

That’s supposed to be ‘wash’, obviously.
And I mean pillows, not pillow cases 
So, is it okay to put pillows in the washing machine, and if so, what is the best water temperature and cycle for them? Like, should I put them on the casual or normal cycle, and a delicate or a heavier cycle? And is it okay to put more than one in the washer at one time? And should you dry them on the delicate cycle too? Thanks, and I don’t have feather pillows, they are just regular pillows.
I put my comforter in the washing machine on warm/cold. It’s a black pattern on a white background. Washing it made the black pattern bleed into the white. It looks purple ish now. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I am unable to locate where is the headoffice in singapore, or the repair centre for this brand on the website. And the shop i bought it from, has closed down – bought the machine several years ago. The washing machine is not working. Can’t even start up.
My 4 year old got into the Vaseline. She then wiped it all over every single towel in the linen closet. I discovered this very late at night and not thinking just threw them into the washer. Well surprise! It is still there, after 3 washings, and the washing machine is covered in sludge.

I have an older washing machine that works fine, except the cold water just trickles in and it makes a horrible noise the entire time it’s filling. The hot water side works fine. Is this something that I could fix myself. I live in a rental so I don’t want to have to buy a new washing machine.
The valve is open all the way and the hose isn’t kinked.
