Which baby girl name is best?
We’re pregnant with our first child, having some disagreements on baby names (our first difference of opinion!)
Laura Ashley
Allison Ashley
Mary Kate
Mary Anne
Anne Maree
Laura Kay
Rose Anne
Mary Rose
or another combination of those specific names. We are going for a classic, traditional name & all the names mentioned are of great significance to us both as they are our grandmothers / mothers names.

Allison Ashley is my favourite. I prefer the spelling Ashleigh or Ashlie though, Ashley is usually for boys. I also like Mary Rose, althugh Mary on it’s own sounds realy old fashioned. Other combinations I like are Marcee Kay, Allison Anne, Allison Kate and Laura Marcee.

Oh my please don’t name your child after a company (Laura Ashley) Or a celebrity (Mary Kate) Rose Anne is a terrible combo it sounds like Roseanne. Allison Ashley or Laura Kay are fine. Although Allison Maree or Allison Rose would be what I’d use. Or maybe Laura Rose. Not a fan of the name Mary or Anne. Good luck.
